Eeyup! Same goes for every release the Club does.Amelie wrote:Other than that wonderful, wonderful moment Hasbro released the Coneheads for Universe, I think we can take this Scorponok as an indicator that a genuine Generations release is not in the immediate works.

I agree ... it's not a Black Zarak homage in my book. Way too much of a stretch of the imagination.
I dunno, mine broke about a week after I got it and that sounds pretty Black Zarak to me.

MGrotusque wrote:That mold aint that great. I bought it, kinda liked it, then didn't. Gave to my neighbors kid. The re paint thing isn't enough of a draw for me to consider getting this mold again. My G1 will do just fine till a 3rd party or Hasbro make a good Scorp.
The Club charges a lot less for loose sets than they do the packaged boxed sets. BUT, the drawback is that they only sell loose sets to those members who already bought the packaged boxed sets, so you'd have to buy that on top of the loose set, thus making the loose set a pointless buy for anyone who just wants one of each figure. It Is Him wrote:Damn. Now I have to figure out how I'm going to afford this AND the 2foot tall statue thing that's ludicrously expensive.
I could be convinced to buy a loose set. How much would that sell for?

I think Soundwave is too small, even though he is a deluxe figure, and I doubt Cyclonus will be used, as his mold is used for Ferak. Hopefully, since it's a knight, it will be Voyager sized. Scorponok is technically Ultra Class. Right?
Make sense since the Wings Universe is a G1 universe.Rodimus Prime wrote:Also, other than Cannonball, every figure so far has been from G1, so maybe they haven't dropped the ball on the 30th anniversary concept yet.
It shouldn't, since all they did with the Scorponok mold was replace its existing head with a new neck piece. The neck should fold in like the original head did, but the Olin Zarak Headmaster figure will probably have to be detached from the body first rather than fold in with it.WiseMan wrote:Anyway, I don't have this mold, so maybe this is a stupid question. Will the changes they had to make to him to make him a Headmaster in any way affect his ability to transform into a jet?
They already did SG Soundwave in 2012, and he doesn't have the WFC Soundwave body so that wouldn't make sense.WiseMan wrote:And here are my guesses for the final knight:
WFC/Generations deluxe Soundwave as Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave
Cyclonus mold as Dai Atlas or Star Saber
Some mold used as Beast Wars Silverbolt

Give poor Breakdown a rest!
Here's hoping for some 3H era homages, or even some things that 3H hinted at but never delivered on like Transmetal Fractyl.
Beast-era characters as either Knights or Pirates?
I think I like the revisitation of previous 3H characters idea more.
I'm thinking possible repaints into 3H characters:
Generations Rattrap into Packrat
Universe Cheetor into CatSCAN
Generations Arcee into Roulette and Shadow Striker
Generations WFC Bumblebee into Glyph and Tap Out
Apeling from Cybertron Beast Optimus Prime
hmmmmm
Tranzilla wrote:TM Fractyl has already been somewhat homaged from Armada Terrorsaur. I could see Universe Cheetor being used for Ravage. Looking at the Knight symbol though, THIS guy comes to mind:
Redone as Omega, maybe? They did say that the figures barely fit in the box this year.

Sabrblade wrote:Yeah, the Cybertron Menasor mold has had the unfortunate honor of being officially disliked by the company who made it (Hasbro) and is likely to never see the light of day again.
Fun Pub can't use what Hasbro won't make available.Tranzilla wrote:A couple things regarding that. Doom is a Shattered/FunPub character. Since Hasbro "didn't like" the mold would just mean that chances are they won't use it again for anything thus giving FunPub a better chance of using it.
