Pretty cool exclusives, I wish I was into some of these more obscure characters and figures.

Those Waruder Drones look exquisite; Really anxious to get them, does anyone know how fast they might sell out, if at all? I need these in my life!

Oh wow, looking through the gallery; I love that pink waspy so much. It's like late 80's early 90's waspinator. He's not 80's, but not 90s. Like G2 but not. Dated, but wonderfully so. for the sake of character, I shall dub him "New Jack Swing" Waspinator.

A couple interesting items in that set of conference specials.
So which two-pack is which on the etailer pre-orders pages?
Is the one with OP and Hound the $129 or the $139 pack? I'm guessing the latter.
Too pricey for me.

What a weak set of fiģures. I'm glad I didnt go now and saved that outrageous ticket price. I can get Battletrap solo from ebay. I'm guessing the club will make flywheels available as a TFCC subscription to elicit more money from us.
Watch the first of my youtube series, Friends Transform.

I wouldn't count on it. The Club has said that the Blitzwing mold is hard to work with, I'm guessing with the shoulder problems and the color layout.
Homages to the old (Diaclone for Lift-Ticket and Burnout, as well as Dia and Cline) and the canceled (Sgt. Hound and General Optimus Prime) are automatically cool in my book. Love how the bios are done, especially for the Waruder with every variation called out and given names:

Mudfighter with Thrasher (Fox Kids Transmetal homage)

Paralyzer with Buzzer

Parasite with Ripper (Halloween Horrorcon homage)

Storm Rider with Crusher
Any significance to those names? Another couple of G.I. Joe throwbacks like Lift-Ticket and Burnout?

Maybe I'm just getting old. But I look these figures and I think, "man, those are neat." Would I buy them in a store? Probably not. In fact, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get them. But they are transformers. And I love them for it.
I have been into transformers since 1984.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

I quite like that yellow Waspinator, would be my first choice if I could have any of them (even over retail/show-accurate Waspinator).
The white/pink one is surprisingly attractive, too.
Apart from "Storm Rider", they all sound like generic wasp-related names.

My comment was referring to the Red Hoist and Purple-ish Swerve (and maybe Black Skids) toys being seen in a club magazine comic a few months back as Evil Autobots hanging out with SG Rodimus.Seibertron wrote:ScottyP wrote:Good guys, bad guys - going off where we've seen some of these decos in the club comic, this was all just SG without being SG, wasn't it?Sabrblade wrote:The name supposedly comes from the comic, and those who have it say he works with the Diaclone guys, so his toy is a good guy but comes with bad guys.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Guys, I may have found the name of the Reflector redeco: Spy-Eye. I pre-ordered the 'Cybertrpn's Most Wanted' and Prime/Hound set. But beyond that, not really my cup of tea. All those who ant and get them, legit kudos to you and I sincerely hope you enjoy.

Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

That set has the highest price tag and and had the most number of pieces made this year, at least for the souvenirs (2,000). I'd say it has the greatest chance of not selling out merely based on those two factors, but you never know. Rainmakers were made in greater numbers a few years back and sold out faster than anything else in that set.Hellscream9999 wrote:Those Waruder Drones look exquisite; Really anxious to get them, does anyone know how fast they might sell out, if at all? I'm 99% certain General Admission can buy from the Club Store, but only after all preregistered con-goers have had a chance to go through the line.Breakdown318 wrote:anyone know if i can purchase the Diaclone 2 pack as a general admission person?

Yeah, I could care less that the Waruders are named after G.I. Joe characters, I want my Multiversal Waspinator Corps!
(yeah, I've got issues, for some people it's Optimus' or Starscreams, for me, it's Waspinators)

Thanks, for the reassurances; I'll be there tomorrow, but I really have my heart set on that set.
I guess if someone wanted to grab me one, this would be an interesting way to learn how pm's work.

Tumbler user Walky has uploaded an image of a FunPub teaser, with simply five sets of eyes and the words "Mayhem Returns" for the Club Roundtable panel on Saturday. Speculation is that it could be the next Transformers Figure Subscription Service based on G1's "Mayhem Attack Squad", so stay tuned for more developments because Botcon 2015 is just getting started!
