I'm interested, and have been since i saw the thread in the Tourny boards. I'm just currently trying to get my licence before the amnesty runs out on the 18th. And no i'm not telling who i'm collecting the heads of, but i will say there is more than one and they are Preds, and i have one down to needing only 3 or 4 heads.

Indeed I could, but I won't. To make things better for those at lower levels it is best to have the higher levels for them to hit. They make more off killing me and brings them up faster so I have more targets as well.

And some I can't reset for losing my alts.

WIth the current speed of the alt rotator, it wont take you long to get em back though.

Me, Im not resettign them becuase I just dont want to. Frankly, I think getting more XP and keeping up with the joneses is far more important than some hunter's lisence which only opens me up to doign things for energon, something I dont need.

I got mine just incase i feel like doing it. Figured what the hell why not. I figure i'm waitin for a bounty to pop up on a maxi, and that'll give me funds to put a bounty out if i want to.

Umm nope, I have alts that are not in the Decepticon rotation.

Oh, you got some prize alts? Yeah, Cant reset Dreadspawn for that reason (not been a real issue yet).

Yeah not an issue, but something to consider when leveling up...

So with the new mission generation, bounty hunting is rather screwed i take it. With 1 maxi and 1 pred hunter, and no real chance of getting the missions to scalp the bots/cons, it's now a worthless endevor.

Idk i'm just venting...

Give it a chance to settle down. You really might be suprised how things work out.

Thank you Gizmo. I hope this will encourage other Maximals to jump in on this as well. And he seems to reacted exactly how i figured he would. In fact i expected either person i had down to the wire to claim to react this way, the other being Absolute Zero, who had Shiro not gotten lucky would have been the other claim.

I thought i should post this reply in this thread here since i have extra to add to it, and it would be general discussion.

i found it pointless since i can only really go aftr maxi's.

but it doesn't matter since it looks like all interest died after we became able to bounty hunt...

And complaining is going to make more people want to set bounties for you to hunt will it?

Interest has not died - the Huntmaster's still get PM's requesting bounties and there are at least 2 private bounties running at the moment. Getting a full team is not an easy task for everyone and we are looking at making bounties easier to set shortly, we just have other things to look at first.

Try making some constructive conversation instead of continually ragging on the game and maybe more people will join in.

i'm not trying to rag on the game. if i didn't like it i wouldn't play it. so its quite the opposite, i reaaly like this game. i was tryimg to make observation that it didn't seem like people wanted to try and become bounty hunters, and those of us that are humters don't have many contracts. i'm hoping for plenty to pop up, but 'm realistically looking at the odds of being able to hunt down the seldom existant max's or getting a team of bots/cons. its a matter of ratios. with a little energon and a lot of luck i could take out a maxi if they played often enough, but statistacially the odds of findind a bot/con who's in the few mssions preds get against them is on lotto status. pardon my "bitching" as people love to call it, but its a matter of statistics.

on a side note i would love to win the lotto so i could pay OS to put in some full time work on this game. I know he has a job so 'd love to give him the money to quit for a few months and make HMW full time

The Thing to remember N_V is that now the misisons have changed its much harder for the cons/bots to find the same target often enough to get a whole team, but there are still aspiring hunters out there as and as the licensed numbers grow, so will the number of bounties and games that can be played in relation to them.

The hunting (and Huntmasters themselves) will also have a fairly large part to play in HMW:Endgame, and so those who have their licences will definitely benefit from the work they put in and there is still plenty of time for more to join the ranks...

I love to hunt, but the available bounties in the Huntsman's sig are near impossible Raph's preds I don't see any missions Neliz is gone for a while, Loki isn't playing plus is a pread, and hell's hasn't been on in at least 280 hours, Looks like I might have to put up a bounty of my own just so I can hunt someone. I can't recall rules on that but you get the point, we needs more bounties. Someone has to want someone else dead its a war game!!

Lets see what we can do about making it easier to put up a bounty then.

Tried to look this up (and failed, since doing quickly from work)... Hunters are still approved so long as they submit a full team (any team) so long as a mission / arena link proves all 12? I didn't participate in the scalp so I'm curious on reviewing the logs I've kept and submitting.

That is correct, any complete team of 12 qualifies.

There's a record bounty out now. Might want to look into that.
