It had a halfway decent selection of TLK figures, but I have zero interest in those. As for TR, they had 2 Fort Maxes, and a bunch of older wave TMs, legends, and deluxes. Nothing you couldn't easily find cheaper elsewhere. As for RiD, there were a bunch of Windblades. Pretty sure I don't need to go back there anytime soon. I think for the current wave TR figures I need, I'll just order online.

Decided to swing by a Target near me. While the selection was better than TRU, it wasn't that great. I really only paid attention to TR, and there was at least 1 of each of the wave 3 deluxes, and a few Broadsides (overpriced at $30!!!) and Six Shot. I'd be shocked if I didn't pick up wave 4 from anywhere but online.

Think you could a pic of that one?

I'll be amazed if it isn't Runabout.

Anyway, theses tags that have been on the empty pegs at the Walmart nearest work since mid April really make me sad.

They're on TR Legends, Titan Masters, TR Leaders and basically all of the RID pegs except for Warriors. If I'm deciphering that right it doesn't sound like they've got anything on order either. Tags were still there Saturday morning, going on a month now.

My target went a step further. They reduced Transformers to two pegs (RiD blind bags and one step changers) and then filled the section in with excess power Ranger toys. :(

Been that way for about a month as well.

Aside from the fact that the Transformers are expensive, the only other thing to cry about is the lack of Chromedome and the larger triple changers. I only have one little triple changer that's not too expensive to go, and that's Ravage. Then I gotta tackle the larger ones like Optimus Prime, Broadside, and everyone except Galvatron, Alpha Trion, and the repaints of the ones I'm planning to get, which are Soundwave and Quickswitch.

Same old same old TR stuff at my walmarts and targets. Movie toys are everywhere now as well. 15 bucks and some change before tax fot deluxe figurea at walmart as opposed to 19.99 at target. Not sure if that's the case everywhere but mighy be worth mentioning. I think Walmart had movie voyagers for 26 bucks as well.

Upon closer observation I can now tell that he was a remote controlled robot/vehicle - there is a clipped off cable sticking out on the side - so I guess he had a button to make it sit up and beg to go into robot mode originally.

I think the vehicle mode looks a little like the Porches from Condorman.

All the last TRU I went to had was RID stuff. I only went to that one because the other TRU didn't have enough TR and here this one had even less.

I did manage to grab some stuff at Walmart and Meijer though.

Walmart I grabbed a Triggerhappy (which I have seen before but passed on as I was trying to save money for other things at the time). They also had Hot Rod and Doublecross who I already had, and that repaint of Chromedome I can never remember the name of that I don't particularly need to get. They had what I believe is wave 3 TM's (although that might have been Meijer) but I'm kinda over TM's now. They also had a pretty beat up looking Galvatron (the box was beat up, I didn't really look close at the figure, already had it a long time).

Also decided to pick up a movie Barricade. Deluxe in boxes? It's about time. Not to sure on the figure though. Terrible instructions make some of the transformation of the arms way harder than it should be.

At Meijer I got Top Spin and Kup. Also had Krok and ... that Hardhead repainted into a 'Con. Passed on those. No Perceptors or Brawns anywhere, of course. They had a few more movie toys than Walmart, but I passed on them waiting until I'd gotten home and opened up Barricade (fortunately).

Hah, I know that one! It's indeed a remote control toy, originally by the Japanese company Yonezawa as Remote Change Robo. The toys in that range were licensed by Estrela for the Transformers line in Brazil, as Electrix:

Estrela Electrix on Super Toy Archive

Yours however seems to be a different variant, possibly a KO.

- Greenlight, Lancer and PotP Elita-1 (plus repro Victorion hands and feet?)

This proves that all 3 main lines will be maintained simultaneously as Hasbro said they would.

No, it proves that particular store location is maintaining them.

But toys cant appear out of thin air. For all 3 lines to be present here with recent waves, it means hasbro had them available and is supplying on all 3 lines at once. Thats all Hasbro can promise to do and they are doing it. But that means, as you suggest, that for your walmart and others to look like this, the retailer must maintain it too. But Hasbro cant enforce and regulate that.

No it isn't. If Hasbro wasn't producing new figures for all three lines there wouldn't be anything to put on the shelf in the first place. The store is just stocking the stuff Hasbro provides.

Thats prety sad, especially when this is what it could look like:

That was my walmart today. Nothing i needed but a nice helping of all three main lines. Whats sad is that your walmart could totally look like this too since Hasbro is actually able to provide for all three lines right now, as they said they would.

I'm kinda vexxed that I still have to either buy 2nd hand or find some comic shop or something to get a TR Sixshot in the UK.

I don't know what is going on there - unless the delay is to do with what I suggested months ago - which is to skip him and then release a revision case with two characters in it not just one.

But the UK could really do with some more stock of Optimus too.

I didn't think SS was that hard to find in the US. I thought he was kinda available in stores. If not, SS is definitely available at the major online stores, but for full MSRP. BBTS and TFSource has it for $46.99.

Fomr some reason, even with my usual aptitude for finding deals, SS has been the only leader so far that couldn't be bought for less than MSRP where I am.

Since SS was at some point available on HTS, I'm sure some folks were able to snag it with the 20% off coupon for signing up for emails. That's the only deal I know of in the US.

I'm with you on finding deals. However, as I expected, my collecting has slowed down. As a result, I'm finding myself paying full price on certain items because I'm less patient with hunting for deals, I use it as filler for free shipping minimums, and/or because overall I'm buying fewer figures. I really wanted SS and ended up paying full price for it. If I'm not mistaken, it helped me get free shipping on a Black Friday deal from TFSource.

US is big place, Hasbro has doodoo distribution, it could be a shelfwarmer in one area but never show up elsewhere. Never seen it, nor Broadside, Voyager OP or Megatron, the Velocitron set, Brawn (legend) or Gnaw, etc. Most of the deluxes eventually showed up, albeit not in massive quantities for some, and no Perceptors.

Meanwhile I still hear people bemoaning the lack of Gears from a couple years ago, but in my area, that thing was EVERYWHERE. I don't get it... 8-}
