I just finished the mod that I'm sure 98% of us are going to do; swaping Binaltech Alert's and Prowl's heads. BT Prowl (which looks MUCH better in person then it does in its photos) just SCREAMS Red Alert after the swap, and vice versa. The two heads swap easily, no modifications are required on either toy.

BTA Alert needs very little paint to make him look like Prowl, so I'll probably just slap one or two custom stickers and that's it. BT Prowl needs a little Red here and there, and a few "Fire Chief" Stickers, which I know reprolables.com is working on.

If you have both, definitely do the head swap.

(seriously, yours are great too. I'd never have got Red Alert from Wheeljack's frame)

not that Alt/BT Prowl's head dosn't look good on the WRX body (because it does!) but you can just strip the red paint off of BTA Alerts head and use that for a head, eather way the mod looks cool.

Hello there, this is my first post, I found my way to this site by following a link for the Prowl leg swop, a good idea indeed.

I have BT Red Alert and he has been niggling me when I look at him for a while, it was not until I saw the pics of Prowls head on his body that it clicked with me what it was, he does look much better with his head on Alerts body.

This however is vexing me, I love Red Alert he was my first Autobot ever, the thought of him loosing his new body to Prowl seems a little upsetting!

I do however agree that his original body design is the Prowl mould, my Prowl is on his way and I will indeed be swapping heads to see the diffrence.

I noticed someone mention Reprolabels are working on a Red Alert set, does anyone know if they will be compatible to go on the Prowl mould?

Anyway I am really impressed with all the mods people have made, I will try and come up with one of my own as well.
