Well if on Cybertron there isn't gravity, they just make a big jump and they are in space (the most unwise thing I said for today)

They do have boosters or thrusters, don't they?

Why not? Because that sort of discharge would come up on our scanners. We'd SEE the boosters and know they're not just Meteors.

Not what I was talking about. I wanted to say this: What if they launched someway else? Like the rockets: They launch and then they dismantle during flying.

It's possible. But that won't give them maneuverability in space either.

Going back to their entry mode, the comet entry mode is a bad idea, that would definitely draw attention to them especially when a rock of that size makes it through the atmosphere. Plus, it would be alot easier for them to be tracked since they will follow a predictable path. If they were going to use an entry mode it would make sense for them to use one that is capable of space flight that they can use for a quiet controlled entry and of course capable of leaving the planet. Using Bay logic since they have the ability to change alt. modes at will they, as somewhere already suggested, probably have stored an alt. mode capable of leaving. But does that apply to non flyers?

If i recall correctly, even G1 Starscream could fly through space in his F-15 alt-mode (Revenge of Bruticus). So the alt-mode really doesn't matter much as the technology is still superior to the Earthen ones.... Just like Megs in the movie. As for the Autobots, for some reason they had to revert to protoform in order to travel to Earth.
