Not to Sure Storms the Brains Behind this i just Do some of the artwork Had an Idea on how to start the Series.

Due to the Aftermath Of the Beast machines Piece was settled within Cybertron and the Flow of the planet due to organic and robot life working on harmony.

Little did they know What had happened in the aftermath inside the Core of Cybertron.

Obisdan Pulls the Swicth and Diverts a Flow Of Energy To Planet Earth,

Cheetor: What have you Done Obisdan
Obisdan: the Rebirth the Essence of Megatron and Prime Were Trapped inside there
Cheetor: your Mad
Obisdan: Mad would be Doing this and Not Getting Away , But Where i Am Going is to Follow that beam and Rule With Megatron your Life of Peace Bores me To the Degree of Me feeling i Would rather be in a cold Cell then Live in Harmony With you.
Cheetor: we will Follow you
Obisdan: well you will have to move quick due to the fact megatron and primes essence will hit the surface of the Earth in a matter of Seconds So Good Bye Maximals

Obisdan transforms and Is then Off in a shuttle.
Obisdan: Soon megatron The earth and Cybertron Will be Ours

Meanwhile

Tommy: whats that in the Sky
Shane: looks like a comet coming down
Tommy: I Think run would be a Good idea right now
Shane: Why you waiting Catch up

Then the Comet Breaks into 2 EThe First hits the Desert and the Seond hits the Ocean

Tommy: what was that even a Comet wouldnt Break like That
Shane: i Dont know I Really Dont Know

In the Ocean a Glow Starts to Appear faint

Hey guys been playing around with tidalwave as I wasnt really happy with the tone overall so this is, I think, a much better version with more depth and polish. I have to thank EB for such detailed pencils so creating the character through illustrator was a blast.

On reflection the other one looks like pale diahorrea.

i had to post this on its own as i had one of the guys finish the 3d model of tidal wave i was shocked seeing this put into 3d by rodent.




asked him to move the tentacles to the back so the transformation works better

i thought about prime and thought snow stalker may be the best option but to ans a twist thought about polar claw having to faces.

later on in the series of event prime goes mad for a short time and become nemesis prime in which he faces both the deceptions and autobot aka maximals and preds due to a energon fused which reprograms him for a short while due to a virus with megatron hoped would lead him to join the preds but back fires in which forces the preds and maximals to reprogram him and dump the virus. to which point megsatron plans to destroy the maximal at this chance.

Here's my take..

This toraton wasn't based on Megatron.. I drew this before knowledge of said character-match..
But yeah - this looks more like an Ironhide or Rhinox design.
The "movie" head designs were drawn for consideration towards that style for this series.
Where Beast Machines had their own style - we can take this series into a whole new style as well!


This is more of a Megatron design - complete with G1 helmet and arm cannon.
Yes, I do understand that this is supposed to be BW Megs - but it's always nice to have some homage..!
I even tried to add the Galvatron shoulder-pads (from the beast's front legs).. they can be shoulder cannons..?


These are some ideas I had in mind for the characters.. Apologies if I scared any of you with the BA head design..

Rattrap: I knew it!, this guys can't live in peace
Optimus Primal: Can't be Rattrap, we lived 200 Million Cycles* in peace, whoever they are i'll stop them.
Rattrap: How, saying prayers?
Airrazor & Cheetor: SHUT UP RATTRAP!

Meanwhile in Citadel "Kynrol-1"...

Tidal Wave: The Operation Proceeds as planned, we're on the move now to Kynrol-2
Megatron: Fine, we need to show to the Maximals that one shall stand and one shall fall, yes.
Optimus Primal: MEGATRON!!!
Megatron: Aaah, it's you Optimus Primal.
Optimus Primal: Why we are starting this meaningless war again, when we can have the chance for live in Peace.
Megatron: Ah, Primal, if you don't know, we Predacons can't live forever in peace, no. For your knowledge we pass through "Ages", one of peace and one of war, yes. and i think this age of peace is coming to an end, and a new age of war is commencing again.

Seriously, you've put tonnes of effort into just this post, not just this project.
Tidal is looking absolutely the king, though i'd have thought this is what would've happened instead of the Beast Wars, should transwarp technology not have existed.
I was thinking about Beast Wars when i first saw this show too!
Rly, this should be stickied and sent to Mainframe ASAP.

Hey Ratbat, been a while whilst i'm working on some of the pics from here I thought i'd drop a couple af TW recolours from the suggestions made, plus look at the horny squid recolour!

i like the first one am awaiting news on a stickie as well if others want a stickie on this i think maybe a case of say i to a stickie and hopefully get this up there

I love the way some of the designs take on an unconventional approach. Really good stuff. That Megs is Satan in robot form pure evil. LOVE IT! I want to see more designs like that

ooooooo I likey.

Here's sharkopath inked up and coloured, I do like the turquoise/green one myself - linking back to the TM sharkticon. Again these are just small images as not to take up too much room, all of the original images are vector based so they will scale up or shrink own to however big they need to be. Printed off from Adobe illustrator as vector artwork you can see all the detail proper and the images look bloody lush.

And i'm glad you liked the unicron head progression, hope you didn't mind me using your sketches BBA, yours and erb's sketches are so nice to work from!

Like Evilratbat, I also prefer Tidalwave5.jpg, the blue and purplish one; looks the closest to the rainbow squid's colors.

I also like the top color rendition of Cybershark.

The updated Tidal Wave looks much better; I like!

As for the actual writing, I have these thoughts:

1) Put the Predacons and Maximals in areas reflecting their characters. Put the Maximals deep in the jungles, where they coexist with nature. It should be reflected in the imagery around their base. The Preds, meanwhile, should be in an abandoned city, perhaps in the midst of a nuclear wasteland. Imagery builds resonance.

2) In the past, it's been char vs. char, or char vs. deus ex machina. Why not introduce a char vs. nature element? New climate changes, radioactive storms, a new breed of predator (something like pack spiders that are huge, maybe near the Pred base), etc. More challenges for both sides to deal with.

3) New characters. The pods in orbit are an ample source of new characters. Nothing too wild and crazy, but maybe fill a few holes. Also, the concept of Unicron coming to this planet later on in the arc is a good one.
