Ok so I was going through some auctions that I obviously didn't win, when I stumbled across two look-a-like auctions. One is this one.

And then there is this one.

The top link has two supposedly 'un-released' versions of some older toys from hasbro. While the second link shows a one of the same toys (although a different color scheme) as the main item of the auction.

So, my question is this. Is it really an unreleased version, or did the guy with the so called unreleased toys scam the winners?

I would also like to know because the guy who is selling these is like an hour and a half drive from me, and I don't mind cleaning someones clock that used a baby with an illness to scam someone. (if it is true, but I'm not saying it isn't, I'm not cold hearted, I just don't like scam artists.)

Could be legit. However, I don't like when sellers put some personal reasons for a sale. I dont want to sound cold heartred, but I don't give a single fawk about your personal drama. Show me the item, give me good customers services, and I'll see if I buy or not. That's it, that's all. Adding a sob story really make so many alarms bells sound in my head.

Also, many sellers "clear part of their collection" and they have over 5000 of rating. Yeah, right. "collection" my ass.

According to a review I read somewhere the Autojetter was meant for G2 but was cancelled and a recolour was released in one of the Japanese Beast Wars series.

While I can't speak to the rarity of the item in the top link, the seller seems to be legit. It was the same seller that sold the unreleased G2 Stunticons. The seller was a broker selling toys from the estate of an ex Kenner/Hasbro engineer. That might be where the pre-production samples came from. The winner of the G2 Stunticons auction was HighPrime in which he talks about buying them here.

That seller has also sold other rare items like the G2 gobots

Thanks for the replies guys. I may be a collector of bots n cons, but this irked me until I got the answer. I'm no big wig when it comes to great transformers knowledge.

A year or so ago, a lot of these were dumped in a local flea market/mall in my country. It was boxed in official Korean TF boxes. Thought I'd take a bite and buy a few but......uggh! Worst looking than the original Battlechargers.
