But I can be happy with the 7 I've got with 2 on the way and maybe the third Screamer.
and if a cheap Games of Deception set is available down the road, maybe I'll splurge as I wouldn't mind getting Bug Bite as well.
Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

I just got a TRU flyer in my newspaper this morning. Animated Activators are on half-price sale.
So, if you're looking for an Activator or four and you'd rather pay $4.97 instead of $9.99, this is your chance!
The sale lasts from February 6th to 12th. That's right, the sale starts on Friday!

What the... We better freaking get the new ones. My buddy owes me a Hound and a Cyclonus!

Usually indicated by yellow counting tags covering huge sections of TRU's at a time.
Sadly when this happens they hold on large chunks of inventory from hitting the store floor, so they have an easier job figuring out what is in stock.
If that is the case, hopefully from the fact the TRU at Metrotown had new lego boxes and the activator wave with Dirge, that they could be wrapping thing up soon. If they do, we may see a bunch of things hitting the shelves at once.

But they've skipped a lot of old stuff, Animated Magnus, most of Universe past Wave 1, and appear to have stopped stockingg Universe Deluxes altogether.
This sucks, they always do this, stock way too much of the first couple waves and then never get anything else... now I gotta buy my junk on eBay...

They also had a few Animated Skywarps, but for $49 I had to pass.

ARMADA Laserbeak.

I looked thru their animated and classics (1 cheetor, 1 swindle both now gone
They also have Safeguard, and a few of the Anniversary Prime packs.
and for some reason a single A. Laserbeak was sitting beside the Primes.
I almost bought it out of shear fasination, but seeing i ignored it for a couple years when Zellers had a ton of them, I left him behind for someone that might actually care about it.

Seeing I found Universe Cheetor at Walmart the other day, I'm hoeing we'll see a Hound show up at TRU and other places more often soon.
As far as Henkei goes, not yet, but I haven't hit those retailers recently.
Bonus: the pick-up card arrived, so my BBTS order with Disney Label has shown up.

Honestly, on the island of Montreal, there has been little to nothing to report Universe-wise. Ever since that time about a month and a half back when the TRU on the south shore had Ironhide, Bluestreak and Sideswipe in, I've seen virtually nothing in retail stores anywhere until yesterday, when I found a lone - and I mean lone, nothing else - Sideswipe at the Atwater Zellers. It was the only one of those 3 I didn't have the funds to pick up earlier, so someone up there likes me.
Took a look back into that South Shore TRU and saw a few Cheetors on the pegs. It really seems that places are receiving few if any of the wave 4 guys, and whatever Hounds and Cyclonuses are present disappear immediately. The guy at 1,000,000 Comix said that he received 2 of each one day and they were gone within an hour.
It's sad - the LaSalle TRU has not restocked anything past Wave 2, and they took ages to get that in. I've virtually given up hunting for the figs; Henkei Cyclonus arrived last week from bbts (OH MY GOD IT'S THE GREATEST DELUXE EVER), and my Henkei Ratchet is shipping now. At this rate it'll be months before I see the former, and Halloween before I see the latter.

Starscream - http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp ... age=family
Cheetor - http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp ... age=family
Hound and Cyclonus were available earlier today, but are now sold out. Dinobot and Smokescreen have yet to show up on toysrus.ca.
For those in BC, Lougheed TRU got a big shipment of Universe wave 5 deluxes (Hound, Cheetor, Cyclonus, Starscream, Smokescreen, Dinobot) but I think all the Hounds and Cyclonuses are gone by now. There's probably a few Dinobots and Smokescreens left.
Lansdowne TRU also got a shipment in today; last I heard there were still Cyclonuses but no Hounds. That was ~6 hours ago, so the Cyclonuses my be all gone by now.
UPDATE
Apparently, Lougheed TRU has restocked not only all of the latest Universe deluxes, but all of the latest Animated deluxes as well! These will probably sell out fast; I'd expect most of them to be gone by the end of the day tomorrow.
