Don't forget that you're not getting one figure with HA sets. You're also getting two. That might have something to do with it, too.

Whar do you mean 2? I would not count Sam in that with the BB release for example. Is that what you mean? It is not a VS set.

Semantical argrument I guess that could go either way. Each collector would have different opinions on it. I would not count it as it does not transform into anything like a minicon does for example but you could argue that it does interact with BB. Any other opinions on this?

Had the figures been to scale with GIJoe figures I would easily look at it as being two figure in the set but at the smaller scale Sam is effectively just an accessory for BB.

Back in the day, the Alternators were more or less selling at the exact same price tag. And since they're more or less the same class size, it always kinda amazes me when people whine about how much the HA sets cost.

Seriously? I never paid more than $30 for an Alt. :?

Überfail is more like it. Yet another version of a character everyone has [lol, justaboutevery scale/pricepoint], blown up, with a crappy human figure that looks awful, for a gimmick that doesn't make sense [why would this alien war machine need a human to ride in its neck to use some kind of gun?]. Oh well. At least nothing interesting could have used that shelf space! (:|

LaSalle TRU had the newest bad boys in today. Picked up Ravage and Mudflap. There was one Mixmaster, but I just can't swing him right now...I'm patient, and there'll be other opportunities. No signs of any Leader figs there yet. I've only seen one Optimus to date, and he was at the Angrignon Sears.

Yeah, and I grabbed him and some other guy from Cybertron.ca got the other!

I saw the Leaders at the Brossard TRU. Bear in mind that they were the European ones that only say the character name, and not "I am." But since you'll be taking the batteries out anyway, it shouldn't matter.

In BC at my local Wal-mart, I saw Ravage, Skids, Mudflap, ROTF Ramjet & Skywarp, Breakaway, Sideswipe/ways, a spot where Jetfire WAS, Leader Prime + Megs, $100 BB, etc.

They also had animated Shockwave and Skywarp, I scooped up Shockwave.

He is now sitting in a throne of canadian change.

Yes it is. There's still one left there, actually. Also the Wal-mart is carrying Blurr and about 3 different Lockdowns

Edit: They are also out of Leader Prime, and I didn't see the twins, but I wasn't looking at the movie figs

Edit: Darth if you want I can PM you the name of my town (also I'm on Vancouver Island, I can't recall if Maple Ridge is in Vic or Van).

For GrayShock and Skywarp, I think they are just finally making the rounds, I saw them at the NorDel Wal*mart the other day.

yhea, wasn't thinking with that one.

Then again it would be a bit easier if the grey release was tagged as Longarm Prime.

London Drugs once again pisses me off, not only because of a near $45 perscription bill I had to pay, but also because they had a Ravage in their toy section. #-o
