As for the actors involved, I personally liked the theoretical listing from the top of the page that included Wil Smith and Donald Trump. Before the TF Movie series ends, I would love to see Samuel L. Jackson in a military role going up against the 'Cons. He made for an o.k. Jedi master but he would rock going against Megatron.
That clash of attitude would make even Prime step back and I could see Jackson being best buds with Ironhide by the end of a movie.
And I'll bet he would jump at the chance to star in it...

So much for "the robots will take center stage!"
Too many humans Bay!
I don't know if the constructicons will appear, seems unlikely for reasons already specified. Brakedown seems o.k to me though. For pot luck, I bet my money on a Tidal wave like character, who acts as a mobile command center for Starscream and the others, maybe helping Starscream betray Megs? I dunno.

All we need is Sam and Mikaela (she better be in it).
Bonecrusher must be in this if they want Constructicons he's perfect.
And i will say it again, but Megatron better be back in this one.

I, for one, am mature enough to find the prospect of sitting on my butt in a theatre for 2+ hours watching nothing but non-stop robot-on-robot gratuitous violence to be an extremely piss-poor use of my money. Go park your butts in front of your PS3's for a few hours with some mech-shooter game if thats all you folks are after.
THANK YOU!
People need to realise you can't film these movies any other way. Try going to a studio and pitching an idea for a 2-and-a-half-hour robot battle-fest movie, all CGI in a real world environment... with no humans.
Do you have any idea how much that would cost?!
My god, they built that Bumblebee model for upwards of 100 000$ and that was just to save money on a HANDFUL of CGI shots that were replaced with the model.
Wanting a TF movie with only TFs is like wanting Jurassic Park with only dinosaurs, Sure, it SOUNDS cool - but in reality it would be lame, unrealistic crap-out.
I've really come to believe that the fans of this franchise don't know what they really want or what they would really enjoy. The fandom's track-record on early-judgments is pretty piss-poor if you ask me. (*cough cough Beast Wars, TF Movie '07, TF: Animated, etc.)

You simply can't create a decent storyline for the situation the TF's are in without the human characters and the first movie would not have broken the box-office records that it did had the human roles been minimized to the point that many of you folks are asking for. Spielberg is ultimately behind this whole project, so therefore you are not going to get your wish anyway.

Some of us aren't asking for no humans...we're asking for a modest number of humans in supporting roles (except for, say, Sam). Ten new human characters?! You've got to be frigging kidding me. Thank God for Transformers Animated where the human characters are, for the most part, firmly in their place - subordinate.

Most of those characters get like one scene max.
I think it's funny how agant Simmons has to work/live with his momma in the sequel. LOL
As for the constructicons, I want to see what they name him. He could just have the name of the other combinders. A G1 combinder with a G2 RID name?--it sounds like it sucks--not to mention the whole "devestator" ,bonecrusher issue that is now "resurected" no pun intended

Yay. true. I know we need humans but why so many? I dpn't want to see a woman saving her deli with Jazzs help, or how Prime and Ice t got their grrove back, I wanna see hard 'bot action.
Too many humans (or robots) spoil the broth...

I'm wondering if Massive Dynamic's CEO is part of that cover by going before Congress and lying to them. Saying that the destroyed buildings and roads were the result of an accidental release of missiles by his company's top secret "Automated Defense Initiative" that's being created for the U.S. military. Or that terrorists hijacked his company's developing defense weapon to strike at the United States. And that he and is company are to blame for such a hijacking, because there wasn't enough security. Or something like that.

Yeah, but they've already made 100% photo realistic CGI movies. It can be done for a decent cost.
They are adding the human element, because they feel no one will relate to it and want to see it unless it has one.
I don't have a problem with humans per se. I just have a problem with boring, stupid, and cliche humans who only subtract from the plot. The problem with the first movie is that the humans were exactly what I stated for the most part. That, and the fact that the Transformers didn't receive nearly as much time as they did.

That will make Prime too powerful. Such gigantic menacing Decepticon cut down to size by a sole warrior, will make the Decepticons less of a menace to start with.

Well, in the comic books, Prime took down Devestator with a powerful shot from his weapon. Why would battling Devestator alone make him too powerful. It isn't necessarily size or brute strength. It's skill. If he could dodge Devestator enough and stab him in the right places, he may be able to take him down.
But who's to say Prime comes out in one piece? He may defeat Devestator, but injure himself badly in the process.
