Yeah... I'd be pretty pleased if I'd scratch built it, but I didn't - it's from Solitaire (one of the Rock Lords).

Here's my way-from-finished project, working name is 'Igor'

Anyway, it is going to be a sort of pulling device for the rest (in altmode) that fold on both sides and at the rear.
In botmode it all clips around him as extra armor/guns.
These pics are old.. the chest and shoulders are been worked on heavily

What I ask myself.. which continent will he reside, any ideas?

, and very original alt mode if you ask me.

Maybe he can be from one of the desert areas, he kinda reminds me of the Sandcrawler (the Jawa's vehicle from Star Wars), or maybe from one of the frozen areas, you could call him Icecrawler :idea:

Is this going to be your mega Pepie? I'd say it fits more in the deluxe range, but since you said is going to have an armor maybe that way he'll be bigger.

But about his area, I wouldn't go with the desert. A thing so large would sink into the desert sand before you can say 'Jawa'.

Ice sounds pretty good, since he has that whole icebreaker look, and he can easily ride around in the Cybertronian areas as well. But if I can suggest another option, how about the jungle? He looks like a giant lumbercut machine to me. Hell, give him two removeable saws on the orange discs at the knees in vehiclemode, and you got two weapons for him in robotmode as well.

The spike-thing was something I wanted to go for allready.
I'm sure they will be awesome with silver/chrome paint aps.

Hmmn...Maybe you can make the backpack like that of Bulkhead? But instead of cannons, you can give him saws then. Imagine the size they would be... :shock:

This is looking great Pepie. Curious about the head though? Did you consider using the head off of the energon Inferno remold, or would that one be to big?

Hey guys any suggestions for a color scheme for the Legionairs?

The one i origionally thought up looks kinda shity and I don't like so I've been trying to come up with a better one. So far I think it may be black, bronze and purple. also i made a coloring with the wing modes ended up looking like a warwithin waspinator possibility. to bad that contest is over :lol:

oh and weapon colors?

I keep thinking of shades of blue and white like the Sweeps. Maybe it's because they were the first drone army. The bronze, black, and purple sounds neat though.

I'm thinking of dark, stormy colours, like dark grey and purple, with flashes of blue and gold.

The dark grey I think would also give the air of a military uniform of sorts, too. And maybe the visor should be gold...

When I first saw the Legonair, I immediately thought about bronze with red decals, like the ancient gladiators and Roman soldiers. How about that? Because despite the fact that Iskander's idea is nice, it reminds me off Command Ravage waaaay to much.

Oh and Isk, that's one hell of a sweet sig. :shock:

Fits perfectly with the project. But I'm curious how it would look with one big Machine symbol, you know, like an eye overlooking the flames.

That's kinda what i was thinking. Replace the darker greys on the upper arm and the legs with the maroon (more ofa regal color, they used maroon's and purples for the elite guards all the way through the mid ages) and replace the blue with bronze. I tried it with a silverish color and it just didn't look all that good to me.
