Hello, I am new.

I had a question about Registration, are we suppose to choose our character out of the Canon Character Profile forum or make up our own character that can fit under description?

Here is how it goes, and you can make either one to start.

Fan-Mades are just that, Fan-Made Characters who fit the criteria for an actual character, though these are very hard to make, for instance you need to have a TF with a name not taken in the original canon, or as another Fan-Made. You can actually find the rules in the RPG Registration forum.

Canon Profiles are the recommended Profiles where you can chose one of your favorite Transformers from the "Canon Profiles" section to the RPG Forums.

Thanks, but how do I know if one of the profiles is not taken? I tried to apply with Ironhide and he was taken but he was on the profile forum.

You just go HERE and find the ones who are not taken and go off of those! Unless you want to make your own Character who is canon, but does not have a profile yet, then you can check the Database for info.

Thanks, I got a app up now.

Finally home from the annual fireworks show.

Show = 20 minutes
Getting out of the parking lot = 25 minutes
Total time to get out and back home = 50 minutes

The location is ~ 18 minutes away from my house. I hate holidays.

Anywho, I'll be getting some posts up between this evening and tomorrow night.

Prime and Megatron are gone. Prowl is in command of the Autobots stationed on Earth. The leader for the entire Autobot forces has not yet been determined.

I have been thinking about joining the RP and would like some feedback on my idea for an application.
I already posed this question to Devastron a few days ago, but decided I would like a wider range of input

I had an idea for a fan made autobot (simply since I couldn't find any available canon characters that I could see my self playing, and I just wouldn't feel right if I horribly maimed a canon character in the sorts of ways I plan on doing so with my fan character.)
At any rate, I had an idea for a very small and lithe autobot who specialized in stealth and reconnaissance. My ideas for alt forms range from those of smart cars, UAV's, Motorcycles, and compact scion model cars.

Any pointers or ideas?

Welcome to the RPG!

Perhaps a canon character, judging by you being new, and how hard it is to get a fan-made into the game, just pick out a nice dish of free character, and begin your RPG!

I appreciate the suggestion, but there just aren't any available canon autobots that I care for. I would say I'm being too choosy, but if I can successfully create a fan character then I'd like to take that route. I may be new to the forum, but I'm not new to roleplaying and with my knowledge of what makes an acceptable character (when speaking in general on forum based roleplaying) I believe I could provide a worth candidate for application. However, if the list of available autobots is somehow not up to date, and there is a character that would like to play that has become open for application I would gladly choose the canon. I'm still worried about playing too far off character when it comes to the canon choices though.

So you are basically looking for a Bumblebee or your own? While I do not have any particular vehicle or model in mind - the best recon is the one that blends into the crowd. So compact car is certainly a good choice.

Though I have to say that when I think of a canon recon that gets maimed a lot, there's an Autobot triggerbot known as Override who fits that description quite well.

Character roster list should be up to the date but comparing it to Roll Call should give rather clear picture on taken characters. And again, characters outside character roster list can be applied for.

Um........... Hello where do you post alternate transformers Roll plays? I'm a g1 fan but i want to do a war for cybertron based RP cause its one the first return to g1 hasbro has done and 2 it is the only good transformers game made.......... well ever. Where exactly can i post it here?

Also why is the character creation sheet here for the official RP of the form more complicated then the Dungeon and Dragons 20 page character sheet?
