I too would love to see a close-up on the head to see what you've done to it, as well as the obligatory alt-mode shot.

here is a shot that lets you see the face and some of the chest/ab mod.

i've got to find something to fill the gaps. also, i may have found a new head that will fit better so this may not be the final head.

i'll post truck pics and a better bot mode shot durring my planning.

has anyone found some tube styrene that fits in the screw holes yet so i can attatch his stacks/guns?

What is that head from? It doesn't look like the original Prime head...

Honestly, I cant see that anything was done to the chest/ab area, but then I don't have the set and haven't bought Classics Prime yet either... yeah, I'm taking my time getting them... heheh.

he removed the raised border around the grill and in the middle Im working on the same problem but Im removing the entire section of the grill to make it flat with the rest of the ab area and add details to make it match.

yeah, i also sanded it down at an angle so it flows into the new, what was a grill, stomach.

and the head was nitro convoys. but i'm making cyb mudflap into rid prime and i'm going to take the his head and modify the helmet so the face is smother.

That's perfect. He's got the white-style cab of the toy, but the robot paintstyle of the character. Excellent work putting that all together.

I noticed that on the G-1 Ultra Magnus he also has a pesudeo grill detail so im not gonna completely remove it like i first thought, But now I need to find a suitable head to replace the prime head, as well as work on an extra piece, "Think wire box" for the trailer cables that will turn into new shoulder pieces....

Hi guys,

Had to have a go at this one, Ultra Magnus was always one of my fave characters! I used a myclone head instead of scratchbuilding one. However, it has to be turned sideways to be transformed.

your paint job really is quite good. and I do love that mold of UM's head. My only issue with it is that a head that large makes the figure look lean, cut, athletic without being bulky. I like size of the head used at the top of the page because the body looks bigger by comparison.
