Yup. That's the word. I find the Titanium Rodimus Prime as too simplistic. Like it was built for little kids.

You guys need to stop the hate towards Titanium Rodimus Prime, he's great. The fact that they were able to fold the trailer up into his legs without hurting either mode visually or functionally is a great piece of design.

His exhaust pipe arm blasters look amazing and he's very poseable.

The tiny wing, chest hole & some proportion problems are all flaws of note but as far as TF's go, he's well above average.

I've got both the original and the evil black version, they look totally badass facing off against each other.

Well aside from the ones I mention the only other Rodimus figure I can think of that looked like his G1 counterpart and was transformable in and was released in the U.S. was the Energon Rodimus figure.

Check him out here.

Here are some pics I found of the transformable Rodimus Figures I know of.Some Hot Rods too.

There have also been a few repaints of toys from other TF lines that were repainted to look like Hot Rod and were transformable.

saw the new Galvatron mold, looks ok but i wish he turned into a cannon instead of a tank.

Definitely getting Grimlock Classic, Snal - Animated, Blackarachnia - Animated, Galvatron - Universe, Prowl - Universe and that one Decepticon Motorcycle from Animated.

Has anybody seeing this Soundwave before? according to the person that posted on Deviantart site it was an idea or concept for Classics original wave 1, but it really looks like Ironhide now

I kind of like it as Soundwave. The opening tape deck chest thing would still work here. Nice idea.

And kudos for finding an olderm existing and appropriate thread to put this in!

It looks like an idea that would have evolved into Animated Soundwave.

Nice touch for the opening chest. But what could possibly come out of that chest in this version of Soundwave?

First of all tigertracks 24... Thank you for your kudos!

Now, I believe that opinions are a big variable, I personally like the concept Soundwave and Ironhide as well, can't choose who looks better on that car, but that is just me, I was thinking that perhaps Lazebeak could be part of the spare tire? Rumble part of the sound system? :-?

The Animated version of Soundwave... I have to say it, but rather quit to Transformers than buying it. There is no way in the world that I would waist money on it...

It will be weird to see Megatron and Starscream fly to the scene, while Soundwave can only drive.

Hmmm... let me see, Stunticons could fly and they were cars, Soundwave could fly and he was a tiny micro recorder tape machine. During G1 episodes, besides the first ones where Autobots had flying capability (then all of the sudden they couldn't), all Decepticons were able to do and it was one main difference until Autobots had Powerglide, Cosmos, Omega Supreme, Jetfire... etc added to their crew

I, on the other hand, am happy that Animated Soundwave is only $10 and he is NOT Cybertron Soundwave =P~ .

As for predicted Chars for Universe; I say Cosmos, Reflector, Wheeljack, and some micromasters. Why? I dunno, Hasbro is pulling names from all of the TF lore, even making a 1-episode based seeker char. like E-Hobby's Sunstorm, and my choices are Tf's that need to share the love of the Classic series IMO.

As far the expected toy list goes I found this.

http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Universe_%282008%29

I hope it to be 100% true as Cyclonus with Nightstick would be the best toy ever.

That is very interesting indeed, but as far as I understand these toys are not as new Universe re-designed toys, aren´t they?
