Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Any reason you don't leave the treads on when transformed?

Is that the two pack version, his head looks better then mine!
This is so very awesome, love the paint aps!
Good job, keep it up!

Sprayed the cannon piece with Krylon Chrome silver and then gave it three coats of Tamiya clear orange very carefully so it's one solid color. Turned out way better than I expected!Asepticon wrote:Another breautiful and imaginative piece. How do you do it? Uh... I do, lol! Seriously, ever see that Macguyver credit card commercial where he's buying a bunch of random junk to carry around just in case? That's what my purchases look like at Wal mart or wherever. A bunch of random stuff that I can see working as something else.Original Sin wrote:Is there anyway we can get pictures of him in varying phases of transformation?

Click the link under the pic and there's a lot more pictures of him.Burn wrote:Great work as always. Though the cannon needs more of a back end, like the G1 version.

I was kinda worried about that too but leaving his legs untransformed lengthened him, but also made him look like he was just lying down. I kinda like the bulky cannon-look because it's like he has giant energy turbines/batteries on top. Also I like removable parts and try to include those in all my TF customs. I cannot stand Kibble-formers, gah.Dead Metal wrote:Ah I've been having this idea for ever since I bought him, but I need a spare one to do it.

Nope, he's the big one. But I have the 1/2-sized two pack one right here in front of me... he's going to be made into someone entirely different... muhahah!Tom_Servo wrote:He looks great in bot mode, but I'd like him a lot more if you didn't have to take his treads off to transform him.
I'm trying to wean people off the fact that everything has to fit on a character somewhere. That's what I call a kibble-former and keeps me from enjoying all of the Transformers characters. The cartoon had pieces of them mass-shift out of sight all the time but we don't have that technology yet. So I prefer to mass-shift the pieces into my pocket rather than bulk up a perfectly good robot form or have stuff hanging off the back.
Here's a back shot with the horrible tread-kibble and crap attached to him as some wanted:
Dude, you're a genious and all, but I personaly like it that way. That is, I'd rather have the kibble former than a parts former. It's kinda apart of the whole TF concept. It's nice to see that the option is available to the VERY lucky winner of your auction. It really is a fabulous piece, even with kibble.
