Nice job. However, for this to be considered a “Classics” version, wouldn’t you have to disable the cyberkey function?

I don't see what he would, its jsut a gimmick. nice repaint, very smooth looking. You hand paint or is that Krylon Fusion? I think I would have left the grill grey and tried to add some stacks to him though.

Especially the grille. It looks weird having it orange almost all over; it could do with more details picked out in silver.

Yes, it is a gimmick, but a gimmick inheirent to the Cybertron line. The Classics line has no gimmicks besides transformation. It goes back to basics, thus the cyberkey gimmick is out of place with what is supposed to be a Classics character.

Ok you are technically correct Tramp however I kind of like the missile launcher chest and can't figure out yet how to make it activatable with out the cyberkey. I'm thinking maybe cutting the majority of the key of and glueing it to the panel that it pushes in but I kind of doubt that'll hold up. I mean it's not like most of the smaller Cybertron cyberkey gimiks which can be activated with out the key like Seaspray's shoulder launchers.

Tentagil I actually believe it or not hand brush painted him. I used 3 different colors with 2 coats each. I started with 2 coats Testors flat acrilic gull grey, then 2 of Testors acrilic orange, and then 2 of Testor enamel gloss orange. The brush I use is the 0/3 soft brush from testors. The blue actually worked with out having to primer it just had to give it 2 coats of Testors gloss enamel dark blue.

Ramrider I was kind of going for the Schnider trucks paint job.
