Okay, I think I cleared this out:
-Cyclonus made out of Cybertron Soundwave , replace the chest and head of course.
-Scourge can be made from Cybertron Thunderblast by replacing the legs, chest, and head.
-Ironhide can be made from Cybertron Overhaul.
-Cliffjumper from Cybertron Hot Shot.
-Bumblebee or Cliffjumper from Armada Hot Shot.
-Cybertron Ransack can be made into Wreck Gar (alot of work) ---Cybertron Blurr or Override into Mirage any other ideas?
Great ideas for Cyclonus and Scourge, but what troubles me is Ironhide from Overhaul. Energon Ironhide comes to mind, if that is what you mean.
Replacing legs and heads is not an easy task, and I just can’t see Ransack as Wreck-Gar, since his head can’t fit in such a small area.
Same with Blurr and Nitro Convoy. They just don’t look like a Mirage.

If you want to make a Classics style Ironhide, the best figure to use is Energon Towline. That same figure works great for Ratchet too. I used it for both of them, as did BotCon.
For Wreckgar, you might want to use Cybertron Lugnutz instead of Ransack. The "Harley Davidson" type motorcycle just suits him better.

Better idea for cyclonous is to use Vector Prime and to carve out some of the ships nose and resculpt the head.
AND he comes with his target master partner!

I've seen that done over at Transtopia, but I don't think Vector Prime works for Cyclonus. Vector Prime works better as Alpha Trion.GrimSqueaker wrote:Blitz Magnus wrote:

Unfortunately, with the change-over in the Transtopia forums, over to here, IF you're wanting to see pics of the VP Cyclunus kitbash, I can't, and the creator of the VP Cyclonus never put up a gallery. If, you're referring to Alpha Trion, that I can show you because I did one.GrimSqueaker wrote:ooooooooooh give me a link to it if u know where it is-i am curious about how that'd look-oh and he'd need a wing resculpt, they had better have done that or else it might be poopy.

As I said, unfortunately I can't the Transtopia formus appear to be shut down and the person who made it never submitted a gallery. The only thing physically changed was the ehad though. For the wings, all that was done was rotating the wings out so that the tips face outwards as far as they could, then angling the wing struts forward. No actual mods were done to the wings at all. It really didn't look all that good in my opinion, and not nearly enough like Cyclonus.

it would defiantly need the forward facing wings, which wouldnt be too bad to make because they wouldnt need to transform-as the should be pointing up in cyclonous' robot mode, so the transformation fits.

Nooo, kitbash & you wont be drawing!!!
Actually, that figure looks pretty nice like that, might have to go to TRU & pick him up along with that Commem. Soundwave.

I could not disagree more, as always with the tfmaster bills work with cyclonous is amazing-he even did a rather nifty job with the targetmaster partner. I love it

I think it's the head that would've made it. Using Sculpt-Bot's Cliffjumper head was a good start; I'm not sure how the modded version would have fit into the gap in the nosecone, though. I think I like the idea now more than I did then, but the mould still screams Alpha Trion to me more than it does Cyclonus.
Oh, and regarding Ironhide, while Tow-Line is the obvious choice, Energon Inferno is another viable fig for modding. On the face of it, he's probably a little more War Within-ish than G1, but I can easily see how with a little extra work he could be made more Earthly (and possibly more like the cartoon/Dreamwave interpretations than Tow-Line).

I think that it would be easy wnough to cave out a space for the head, and have the back of cyclonous's head look like the hull of the alt mode.
it would take a bit of time and effort, but it would definatly work

Considering the looks of Cybertron Overhaul, I think he was refering to Energon Ironhide.
I think Inerno is a better choice, since pulling that off is more impressive than seeing a duplicate of a BotCon item.
