he's pretty close... same length, not as wide and slightly taller (which honestly is probably accurate seeing as Hotrod is a sportcar which means wider stance and lower center-of-gravity and all that).
The hood is a cheap sticker I found at my local Hobby Lobby, in their pinecar section next to the model paints... a 12" by 4 " sheet for only $1.89... Its extremely reflective and you can actually see the pattern slightly change depending on your angle of view/angle relation to your light source too.

well, its update time again
DRAGSTRIP!

Basically, a Formula car just sans sponsor. I was afraid to paint it straight yellow, as I think it'd look too plain, but I also didn't want to stray from the roots either, so I broke it up with Ford grabber orange from Model Masters.

not really... you could, but on the original, its the engine exposed that is silver, which on this is just an air-intake. If it makes you feel any better, the original transforms so that silver piece ends up on the chest, and for this, the robot mode has silver on the chest.

Motormaster's head is a Sculptbot original.
I don't intend to sell the Prime head, but I might could be persuaded to trade it if you had another head that worked for me...
OK, sorry for the cruddy pics. for some reason my camera kept trying to focus on the background every once in awhile instead of the object. It didn't happen every time, so I dunno what I did wrong exactly.
Drone car #1. This particular drone will make up Menasor's left foot. Obviously those guns will come off when he's a foot, and the wheels rotate up and off the ground. This was my first ever scratch-build, and also my first ever use of Apoxie sculpt. I have come a long way since I did this car a couple months ago *L* I owe PK a shout-out, as I was complaining about how plain it was when he suggested I add another layer of styrene to the front to give the headlights and grill and everything definition, and was he ever right. If not for him, the front end would be flat other than just those lil guns sticking out!

It IS styrene sheets. my first scratchbuild, so I firstly used putty just to fix any gaps in corners, then added more on the hood over the "guns". In fact, the only parts not squared off are right over each of those "gun barrels".
I was gonna show these yesterday, but not only long day at work, but spent the rest of the day working on my car, and once I finally got to sit down, I promptly passed out! So I'm a day late, and for that I apologize, but better late than never, eh? At least I can happily report that those hinges came in today.
Drone car #2. I think its safe to say that I came a good way from when I did the first drone, don't you?

hehe, thanks.
Don't worry guys, I'm getting close! I've got the hinges for the trailer done, and the pegs for holding it shut done, and the stands for supporting it when its opened done too! Tomorrow I'll do the gun turrets and mask the chrome off and lay down the base coat for the interior. That means that Weds the trailer will be ready for reassembly, and if the stickers show up(possible) I'll be able to stick 'em on right away, and then you'll get to see MM finally. After that, probably just a couple days to finish the interior off... so I'm still right on schedule to get done by the weekend the last of the project.

OK. the labels didn't get sent out till back at the beginning of the week 'cause reprolabels has been swamped. BUT I went ahead and finished everything else up on the trailer/base so that now I only have to apply those stickers on the outside and then cover them with some future floor finish to seal them down. I went ahead a took a couple of pictures of MM's alt mode since we've all been waiting for so long to see him. No shots of the whole kit-n-kaboodle from the side, as that's waiting till after I get the labels in, but these'll do for now

Its still a few days away before I ought to be recieving my trailer stickers, so I still don't have a nice group photograph of all the alt-modes. I figured that while that interupts my plans a bit, that what the hell, I'll go ahead and show you guys something you've been waiting a really long time to see, Wildrider!
