I only want it if it's voyager scale. I own the official Hexatron which I think is too large. Im trying to sugarcoat it in my mind that he is huge like in the comics. But in my heart I want Sixshot to be scaled to G1 cartoon accuracy. Even if he only got one minute of screen time.

If you're looking for G1 scale accuracy, Hexatron scales well with Maniaking, no?

In the G1 cartoon, Sixshot was about the same height as Galvatron, maybe a bit taller but not a giant like Skyfire or the Dinobots.

The official Hexatron is MP scale in my opinion. But it's so cool that most "classics only" collectors bought one anyways.

Sixshot's scale in the cartoon varied; sometimes he was a head or two taller than Galvatron, sometimes he was eye-to-eye with him. If I had to set his scale, I would envision him as about Dinobot/Grimlock sized, so his scale works for my Classics collection. The MP-scale argument is a well-tread one, so I think we'll just agree to disagree there.

Because some of us (namely me) watched the Japanese Headmasters 'toon, and Sixshot was huge in that. I don't remember in his brief appearance in the G1 'toon being scaled with bots. Let's see:

But, at the end, he was standing near, and behind Cyclonus. He was definitely huge! Maybe not quite as big as Hexatron to Deluxe Cyclonus, but if Cyclonus was brought up to around Mania King's height to make that scale consistent...

And I got sucked into another scale debate, didn't I? :BOOM:

At any rate, I don't think Hex is unreasonable for my classics collection based on his G1 appearance and the Japanese Headmasters cartoon.

Hey I never noticed that last scene with Cyclonus. Now I don't feel so bad anymore.

Any clips from the Japanese Headmasters cartoon that show his scale ? I still haven't watched it yet...

Then you need to rewatch those rebirth cartoon episodes. Because Sixshot was shown massively bigger than everyone minus the city formers.

MMC got the Hexatron toy scale right. As Hexatron is a similar toy scale to HasTak's 1987 Sixshot toy.

Being massively bigger doesn't equal a Voyager sized toy. Being massively bigger equals at least a Eight inch Ultra,Leader size or bigger newer toy.

Again,the previous classics Generations toy scale is now outdated & Defunct. Titan Metroplex,Leader scale Jetfire & Leader Scale Megatron. Have all forever changed the scale & increased the scale of the entire line.

At some point I'd like to see HasTak make a attempt to corrrect the wrong toy scale given to Classics 2.0 Cyclonus's toy. For Generations,I'd like to see Cyclonus get a Voyager sized toy. While in the Masterpiece TF toy line,I'd like to see Cyclonus get a Eight inch Ultra Sized toy to match the MP TF seekers toy scale.

It's mind-boggling that up until now these guys still refuse to show a proper image to show if they're making it the same size as Hexatron/downsizing.

Before I even consider buying this. I need to watch to few youtube videos. I'm a bit worried how the newly added diecast metal parts will rub up against the plastic parts.

Lets see some comparison shots with known figures already. I think the key to how well this sells will be the scale. Voyager scale would be awesome. Regular hexatron MP scale, total fail, everybody already owns the original.

That's what it looks like. As far as I know, no one knows scale/pricing. Even the cleaver swords are not much of an issue as MMC is making them available for Hexatron.

I don't know of anyone around here who is interested in buying this, unless it is scaled down to Voyagerish size. It feels like we all just stick around wondering if there is going to be a crash, kinda like how I watch auto racing...

If this were scaled down enough I think it might be more pleasing size for a Shadowmaru variant, but seeing as MMC still haven't followed up on that themselves and this lot is taking forever on a knock off which may or may not even be scaled down at all, I'm starting to think ever having a decent Shadowmaru is a lost cause...

Well, that settles the scale issue once and for all. It's the same as the original. Though I do hope they also sell the heads (bot/wolf) separately.

You know, I used to say voyager size would make this more appealing, but it's true - he's really large in Headmasters. Maybe ultra is the right size for him.

... why not just release a new head instead of going through all this trouble?
