I was hoping to see a few pics, but, oh well. I can understand you have to be part of this club to be able to view the pictures, I mean isn't that what any sort of membership is all about? Having exclusive rights to something that others can't? It's like somebody going to a baseball game and complaining that the view from the nosebleed seats is so poor compared to those snobs sitting around home plate. Well, those snobs did pay about $100+ for that seat as well, so......

Honestly, seeing a picture of a Sunstreaker that will be mass-released in the Fall of this year is not that big of a deal. The day will come. And you know what? After all this anticipation and hub-bub about not seeing the picture, there's going to be a bit of a let-down when you open the package. Why? Because if you're getting so bent out shape about not having the right to see a picture of a figure, I really doubt anything is going to be able to please you.

Anyway, the "Tanknor" nametag is a bit unexpected, but I never really payed that much attention to the Octane character, so I don't think it's a big deal. And Powerglide, an Ultra one much less? Huh!! I had the G1 toy and it wasn't much to write home about, so it's nice to see some characters with subpar G1 toys get a much needed redo.

And, of course, Prowl and Sunstreaker will be must-buys!

The TF Club doesn't seem any different to me than any other club that requires membership fees to cover operating costs and exclusive club benefits. So I guess I'd be siding with the TCC on this topic. I'm not a club member so I can't see the preview pic which as I understand it from other posts is of Sunstreaker.

But since this is going to be a mass retail release item I just have a difficult time understanding why some people are upset about the pic being previewed for TCC members only. Sooner or later everyone will be able to see this pic. Given that we are living in the information age it's just a matter of time before the pic is posted elsewhere and shared with others.

I'm excited about the Classics 2.0 line and am eagerly waiting to see pics released to the public so that I can make my own decision as to if I like the direction they're taking the Classics 2.0 line. But man, I think I'll have to join the club if it means getting the Seacons at some kind of lower price than paying an arm AND a leg.

was there any talk of pricing for Seacons? members or otherwise? Just looking for rough numbers here.

i have no problem paying a membership fee, i like TF news... but the pricing is the real kicker... also i wonder if they will stay true to the original color scheme.

I'll be grabbing each and every one of the classics no matter who they make. It was the line that brought me back into the fold and I've been saving my extra cash since October. Can't wait for Sunstreaker, Onslaught, Prowl and "Tankor" :grin:

I haven't seen it yet, but from what I was told it looked like, plus the description here...it sounds a tad boring to me. =(

I'll reserve final judgment when I actually see the picture, but I was hoping for a little more than Alternators Mirage in terms of the transformation.

The least I'd hope for is that they'll be as intricate as Mirage is.

Have the Movie and Animated lines ruined it for me? Hmm...

Well...I finally saw the picture. And uh...well.

=( That's...that's terribly boring and made of suck.

I'm hoping that Side Swipe will be made of win at least.

Fortunately Onslaught and the other pictures we've seen look good, at least.

I'm just hoping he's mistransformed, otherwise...that's one craptacular figure.

Sideswipe and Red Alert shouldn't share the same transformation as Sunstreaker. They can share the same car design. But not the transformation.

The 2 red guys always have the hood on the chest.

Hmm, Sunstreaker looks awesome. Except...why is his rocketpack on the roof of the car in alt mode? :-(

Alt mode looks good though, except for the roof thingy, looks like a Gallardo. Though, I think Sideswipe will look waaaay better since there will be no rocket pack.

I am looking forward to more pics of the rest of the line up.

BTW, the whole complaining about exclusives and clibs and what not is really old. If you live in the US, you have no reason to whine as membership is not only affordable, but is dumb not to get as the discounts on Botcon and exclusives alone make it more than worthwhile.

So please, spare us for now, and save your energy for the 08 Botcon set whining that should be starting in about a month. (:|

Afterthought: It isn't that I do not sympthize with those who may not be able to afford a memebrship or exclusives, etc. It just that some of you guys have bludgeoned every bit of sympathy out of me with comments like those ofund in this thread or in any that mentions Botcon or any type of exclusives. Its just....too much....too vehement.....too often....

This is what I like about the G.I. joe club over the transformers club they have a free level for the G.I. joe granted you don't get magazine or the figure but you do get access to the boards and member price at the club store as well access back issue of the magazine on-line if you want. Where as transformers club charges you $40 dollars for the lowest membership fee. I can't image that G.I. joe club doesn't have to pay a fee to hasbro as well. But seems to find away to offer a free membership to people who want it. I have said my piece about the club situation and now I will just be patent and wait to see the figures in time.

I don't get why some people just can't accept the idea of exclusivity, and I'm not a club member so I'm not saying that to protect my rights. But I think it's fair that the folks who pay for their membership get some benefits for it too.

We are all gonna see those pics in few weeks/months anyway, whenever Hasbro decides to release them publicly. Have little patience, everybody. Remember, pics of some toys are not a basic need of life.

heh, glad i didn't have to pay "Club" prices to see the pic.

not worth all these hype and rabble, that's what i'll say.

it's good, but not that great. Alternators Mirage on the legs, but otherwise standard Classics transformation. kinda big on the torso part, but maybe that's just because of the way he was photographed. that's about it.

now bring on the other Classics 2.0.

Can someone at least describe Prowl? What's his bot mode look like? Is he a sports car like in G1? Does he look like a Nissan in some way? Does he have similar colors and design? Etc. How about for Sunstreaker?

Yeah. I was wondering what that rood thing is supposed to represent. G1 Sunstreaker have that in the rear engine portion, which is the normal place to be.

And where does that thing go in robot mode? Could it be a weapon?

I forgot if i mentioned this yet. His arms looks very similar to Bumblebee. Same flip-over shoulder socket-wheel thing. Same door as arm shield thing. Same yellow-grey combination.

And i'm pretty sure the actual toy will have that cheap yellow plastic ans swirly grey as usual.
