I've gone back and forth on this guy. At first I really like the colors, then I a saw some pics, then you said he was awesome and then you posted some awesome pics. Dangit, them struggles. I could see this guy in my regular non RID collection. I guess when I see him in plastic, I will make the call.Cobotron wrote:Picked up Stormshot a couple weeks ago.
Those hook dig deap don't they?itscramtastic wrote:Well lookie there!! He does look like a fun little bot. I need to pick up some flight stands so my fliers can fly!
This dang RiD. It's hooks are in me!!
Cobotron wrote:Picked up Stormshot a couple weeks ago. At first I was a little underwhelmed, but the more I played, the more I liked. He has this real nice feel about him. The character design, simplicity of transformation, the heroic blue, red, and white, even the weight of the figure all give him this really nice classical feel. He has an old soul. Reminds me of so many old Transformer toys, even a little Microman.
I love his little pistol, and the combo rifle is pretty cool.
Fly mode.
Gunned up.
My only minor complaint is I wish his head was on a ball joint. It's on a swivel that's pretty hard to turn. Which in turn makes his head impossible to turn 180 for jet mode. His face is just hanging out enjoying the birds eye view from under the jet.
