Them pics are super fun and really sells the figure. That's probably why people say you pics make figures look good. The fun you're having really comes across. ;)^

Flight stands you say? Here are the ones I picked up.

Pic is a link. They are cheap, you get five, they come with 3 sections, 3 claws, a 5mm and 3mm peg. But they are a bit wobbly and you really need to crank the screws down and they can really on hold a deluxe or smaller figure.

I'm happy, but I want some stands that will hold a voyager. I may have to get some of those Bandai Tamashii stands. I've heard good things.

My only minor complaint is I wish his head was on a ball joint. It's on a swivel that's pretty hard to turn. Which in turn makes his head impossible to turn 180 for jet mode. His face is just hanging out enjoying the birds eye view from under the jet.

@Cary: I may have to pick up some of the Bandai Tamashii Nations ones, or even those ones Takara released for MP Tracks..didn't they release those separately?

I'm glad you like him N. I put some hussle on getting those shots when I saw you asking about him in the RID thread. He is a good, fun, solid, and cool looking figure.

Cooking! Stormshot could totally squeeze in a non-Rid collection. HE could be generi-bot 2 along side Sargent Kup. :lol:

itsstandtastic, I would advice against the Takara stands. In theory they look good and function well, but I have two (Traxx, and Loud Pedal). On LP's the peg snapped clean off on the first use, and TRX's is cracked and almost ready to pop off. I bet those Bandai ones are good though.

In a moment of weakness and desire for new fun, no matter what, I grabbed Primestrong.
Now these toys are nothing really to write home about. They are not mind blowing hi end collectibles, for sure. They are a one trick pony, and built solely around that trick.

That being said, I grew up on this bread breed of ponies. The gimmick is a nice late G1-esqe throw back to TFs of old. I'm probably a bit overly forgiving because I grew up spending hours playing with unposeable bricks. I like the way these guys remind me of those days.

The sculpted detailing really isn't that bad, aside from Prime's director/English riding pants.

Strongarm's alt mode is actually kinda nice. Prime's could use a little work.

The combined form is actually pretty neat for a Brick-O-Tron, and the gimmick is pretty fun to flippity flop over and over. OF course like all RID toys, they could have used a little more paint, but I'm numming to this notion.

My only "but" is the price. $14.99 is WAY too much for this toy. Based on size and function this is a $6.99 toy at best.
I wished I had remembered my promise to myself that I would only get Skyhammer, but I spaced it and totally fell pray to impulse.
Oh well. Live and learn.

Bee's blaster is from one of Iron Factory's Notsun Brothers. I'm tellin' y'all, those IF sets come with so much extra goodies. IF has armed most my weaponless Hasbro Legends.

Wheelie is sporting Cybertron Defense Hotshot's pig sticker. Which to him is as Sting is to Bilbo.

You know what bugs me?

Nothing about this new Kickback. That's for sure.
Probably the best out of the 3 Legends from Wave 3. A great update to one of my all time favorite G1 toys, and maybe the best of the Insecticon updates.

Love the weird and creepy proportions of his bot mode. Tiny head. Long arms. He just looks like a mean scary little minion of an evil doer. Build an army? Thinkin' 'bout it.

Thunderhoof's gun was just sitting on my desk, but it seemed appropriate with those cricket leg tines on it.

Must find moooooaaaaar ENERGON!

So happy to have completed the squad. ;)^
