I don't have a problem with the Leader Seekers. They all look good. I just saw them as a place to trim some fat. $150ish dollars I didn't need to spend. One version of the mold is good for me. Although if I see Skywarp on super clearance I might be tempted. For me he is to the Con equivalent to Bluestreak.

So Burn, you live in a small town in the north, eh? Is it near the water? Is that a silly question because most everybody lives on the coast?

Edit: Missed a few while this one sat idle. Kids! Always need something.

Jak, like I said in my Chromedome review, If both modes are this good, does it really matter how we get there?

ive got $200 invested into that mold -50 if you dont count starscream since i got him for free

Coastal town growing (predominantly but other smaller crops as well) sugar cane and bananas. I take a lot of photos of the river and post them to Instagram.

And yeah, everyone pretty much lives on the coast, there's a bit of life in the centre but nothing grows there so it's either mining or tourism that keeps the towns going. I'd hate to see what their distribution is like.

They grow a lot of sugar cane where I live, been driving through them a lot lately on my travels. We're just a little behind you as far as harvest time goes though. Instead of coastal regions we have bayous and railways

Our distribution is all over the place here lately. We seem to be a few weeks behind the first sightings, but hey at least were pretty damn likely to see everything.

So Cobo, what's you're thoughts on Masterpiece Cheetor? I remember reading that you were, I guess you could say underwhelmed with Primal, so do you have a different opinion on Cheetor?

I for one have him on preorder.

I think Cheetor's robot mode looks killer. I think his beast mode does not. Same deal with Primal.
After my rant about takara's toon acc push blah, blah, blah... what it really boils down too is I just can't collect it all.
My big old BW collection is one of my favorite parts of the Collect-O-Tron and some of the best TF toys ever in the history of the brand. They continue to bring me much joy to this day.

The old toys will do just fine to scratch my beastly itch.

Yeah the beast mode isn't that good. But I don't care that much because what they did with what they had isn't bad and he won't be in cheetah mode very much. And by being more cartoon accurate do you mean the lack of any sculpted fur?

Man. I just went back and checked out the Beast Wars Collect-o-tron display. So much awesome!! They really did nail it on character design and transformable toys didn't they? I regret returning my Rollerblade Transmetal Megatron. He wasn't that bad. I think I returned Hoverboard Optimus around the same time!! Farts. Curse me and my returning capabilities!! I started so young!!

I do actually like the MPs of both Primal and Cheetor. I just don't think I'll end up with either. I've got my Optimal Optimus, that's all I need

Ya, maybe. I love that show. Probably my favorite TF fiction of all, and not because of the art direction, but because the stories were so good. I know CG animation was in it's infancy (well, maybe toddlerdom), and I respect that.
But, I think I would have liked to see hyper realistic beast modes just like the MP vehicle guys.

I've said it before, but I am super psyched for all who are excited for these guys. Especially the kids who grew up on BW. It's great that they're getting MP love.

The best part of the OG toy line was that it was packed with so much weird. It left so much to the imagination.

You returned TM Primal and Megs??

I LOVED those toys. TM Megs was my favorite Megs, and TM Primal was only beaten out by Optimal. Sorry Cobs, I know the OG Monkey Primal is phenomenal, but I have no real attachment since I never had them as a kid. The TM's were the first team leaders I got from BW, and in fact... TM Megs was my first EVER Megatron!

I did return them. I eventually bought Optimal Optimus, so all was forgiven by myself. I do regret passing on TM2 Megatron. He would've been worthy. Oh well.

Me neither. I was at best 21 when I got Primal.
