The Korean releases of those BW figs are great. Exact same quality as the Japanese ones. I actually have a few. And some of the Microman stuff from the same era. To be honest. they are so samsie. I can't remember who is and who isn't a Sono King. release.

Bod, you wrote something before but edited it out about multiple modes. Black Big was always good enough, but when I saw Ultra Mammoth, I couldn't resist. I think that is the smartest repaint the club ever did. The tusks in place of shoulder stacks is brilliant., and adding a Magnus to the BW line up was an instant sell. So now I DO have two. ;)^

and now he and Ape Prime can roll together!

Sometimes it pays to buy a few things at a time from them.

I thought shipping might be a factor, but yeah, I'd have to pile it on if I were buying from toyarena.

I did notice while on the BeastQuest that the figures from the Korean release were much cheaper! Did BW flop over there, resulting in liquidations? I can only assume so.

Ultra Mammoth really does look cool -- I definitely need one of those molds in my life, and it must be Black Big Baller Convoy.

No worries about Heinraddo, Cobro. I could've hunted around a bit more. But seeing him MISB for $24 was like a quick jab to the autoballs! ;p

And sorry for the multi-edits -- phone browsing is not optimal for me when pontificating about TFs!

The Grey one is a BWNeo repaint that came in a two pack with Killerpunch, called Survive!
That's the one I have.

But wow, 2-pack for the win there, Cobo. "Survive" is a hilariously awesome name to me, and dat headsculpt is even better -- like when you tell a little kid to smile and it's all teef. :-D

I'm convinced Beast Wars Neo shoulda gotten a lot more love, and they should've brought more of them molds to North America.

Oh, one thing the guy who sold me Heinraddo threw in, was a BWNeo catalogue! I'm sure you got some printed copies yourself, but I took pics to share just in case (it's the first time I've actually looked at it lol).

I picked up the Target Universe Nemesis exclusive on clearance. I'd feel pretty crappy about fleecing anyone here on it. And I have considered keeping him and finally opening him. But, though I've moved to a new, bigger house, I need room. And I had no idea a sealed version was going for $150.

Okay, enough of my interrupting of the conversation flow. Let's get back to talking about Burn's mammoth snout flopping... :-s

(I think I've got that polar bear in my beast wars stuff....need to do more unpacking.)

I may be coming in late and have missed something, but that catalog actually displays Beast Wars II characters and molds. In my opinion, the Beast Wars Neo figures (like Heinrad) actually look better than the Beast Wars II figures, despite how many of the Beast Wars II figures I have. :lol:

I agree with you. I wish they would bring more of these molds over.

I too agree. More domestic releases would have been nice.
I think the problem was that we were already moved on to Beast Machines at the time, and they couldn't figure out how to shoe horn the likes of a horse, a cobra, a rabbit, etc., with realistic sculpts.

They triceratops horned all the dinos in! Because kids will buy anything DINOSAURS! :lol:

Oh, wow! I like the repaint on Big Convoy! Is that an exclusive or a fan repaint? I was only aware of the normal version and the black version.

You're totally right, Wingz! I hadn't taken a close look at that Prime, and it's in fact Lio Prime = BW2! Now I really wanna see the BWNeo catalogue to compare -- but I must admit of all the Japanese BW characters I've bought, they've all been from Neo.

And yeah, North America had already moved onto Beast Machines by the time BW2 & Neo came along....so they would have probably flopped here. I don't own any BM figures, but that'll change once Megahead Megatron arrives on the slow boat from Japan....
