I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for some of those Big Convoy variations! This my first time seeing one.

I'm the exact opposite. I love the Beast Wars Neo molds moreso than Beast Wars II, but I keep finding good deals on Beast Wars II figures so that part of the collection is bigger. It's really nice to see others that are also into these lines. Even among some fans I've known, they take one look at Longrack holding Stampy in gun form and treat it like some obscure alien artifact :lol:

LOL, well, Stampy's "weapon" mode is a bit messy -- but still cool!

I'm hunting for good deals on Longrack and Mach Kick, but love having Stampy, Bazooka & Heinrad.

Now, Cobo has me a bit obsessed with hunting down Big Black Convoy....if my order for the reissued MP-36 Megatron wasn't this month, I'd have already bought one. :ic$:

Word of advice if you're looking for Lio Convoy's, White/Black/Flash can all be found at decent prices if you're patient. But the mold itself is actually kinda disappointing. He sorta has a MP-11 thing going on with his torso. I had all three at one point, and sold them.

All that said, it is a really good looking mold. So much so, that after my heavy regrets, I rebought all three eventually :lol:

Cobo, I have a question! I went to the link with Big Convoy you posted a few pages back, but my purchase gets an error: "Transaction refused due to risk model". I've never been to the store before, nor have I ever seen a warning like that, so I wondered if you had ever seen that warning before or might know what it means. :???:

Last Thursday's haul.

Guys, I really don't mind Starscream at all. I know he's wave 1's whipping boy, but I actually think he's pretty good. Yeah, Jet mode is the weakest, but we've had robot-under-jet syndrome since the 80's. If your not over it by now, then GTFO... maybe? Just kidding.

So lots of folks aren't down for his robot mode proportions. I actually really like them. Yes, very untraditional, but I like that he's different than every other Seeker mold. His design takes me back to the late 90's raver graffiti style that was hip at the time. You might also find this style in the never loved, always hated Dream Wave era of TF comics. Which I always liked. Because I'm different. I guess.

Anyway. I think his transformation is slick. That leg transformation, much like that of TR Twin Twist and Topspin, is some pretty sweet engineering. That perfect clearance to to get those thighs to slide into the lower leg just right is very nicely done.

Dig the torso mode too. Here he is with some G2rial bots.

Boba be DOPA! Really fun and gratifying build.

You know me and PotP had a roller coaster ride. First time I saw him, I dug his look and his big goofy boxing gloves, but the more I saw him the less I liked him. I'd never say I dislike PotP Starscream, just I don't like him enough to purchase. He really just doesn't have a home in my collection. I don't mind under jet robot, like you said, it's just part of Transformers (like scale inconsistencies). I've held the box on three different occasions and he just didn't speak to me, the proportions are just too weird for me.

Torso mode on the other hand looks awesome. Like why doesn't the rest of him look like that? Seems to have so many moving parts and panels. I guess something had to give. Yeah, if the price was right I'd get SS for just torso mode (and I don't even have enough spare bots to have him combined). I've said it elsewhere, but SS needs some nice looking PCC limb drones. I'd love to see his torso mode with some proper Starscream limbs and that's word ;)^

I can get behind disliking (or liking) a figure, but why does it seem people to want to recruit others for their team? I mean we can all have differentiating opinions, still be friends and still enjoy the franchise/hobby. Having different viewpoints also makes the convo more interesting. Hell if we stop and listen we might just learn something (obviously not aimed at any one who frequents the 'Tron).

Man! The art style of the Dreamwave stuff gets a lot of flack. You've never come across that? I always liked it. Didn't read a ton of the books, but I liked the art. I thought it went well with all the Arron Archer era toy design. Which I also think was really neat looking art.

And I was just being a S.O.B. for comedies sake. I truely believe that opinions are the right of all sentient beings. It's actually kind of my job to uphold that principal around here. Except when those opinions aren't exactly the same as mine.

I do like that pose too!

I recombined him as Megascream at the moment. I think he looks best with Jazz and Slug as legs, and Dreadwind and Swoop as arms, wielding Cloudburst and Metalhawk as weapons! Skullgrin is with Overlord at the moment, and Grimlock is tooled up with Ptero and Clobber!

I actually can't wait for Blacking and Blastoff so I can form Dreadwind and give Megascream a permanent team (and hey, that rhymed!)

PowerScream isn't bad. I'm indifferent about his bot and jet modes, but that torso, mah gawd. It's pretty great, and I plan to get him his own set of Combaticons to make a Brutiscream 8-)

I LOVED Dreamwave. The art, the story, everything. And in comparison to IDW, it is so much more reader friendly. I think it's what got me back into comics (along with Ultimate Spider-Man and Civil War), and you would not believe how many variants there are of those books. Stupid Dynamic Forces #-o

An exciting thing will be happening in the 'Tron today.
Fellow Seibertron user, Decepticon Finishline lives about an hour away where he is a grad student in the School of Broadcast at our State University. He is doing a documentary on collectors and collections and asked if I would be willing to be a part of it. SURE! YOU BET!

It will be fun too, because we have been chatting via digi means for over a year now, and have never met in person. Looking forward to kicking it with a fellow Collect-O-Geek! He's gonna bring his MP Cheetor and Sunstreaker for me to check out too.

This whole thing is great also because it forced me to get the 'Tron under control. Including the Beast Wars shelf. The shelves are all back to their complete GLORY!!!!!!

And the documentary that Decepticon Finishline is working on sounds super cool!

I couldn’t help but notice Glamdring and what appears to be Theoden’s sword hanging from the wall. Those made me wonder, is the armor on the table from Middle Earth too? Either way, awesome stuff all around. :APPLAUSE:
