Lots of little hauls over the past couple of days including the Diaclone Waruders.

Friday these two arrived.

Novastar was a last minute amazon grab thanks to a post from Ag.
Swerve was the last of the torturous walfart.corn experience. Tailgate was canceled, but Starscream and Swerve made it through. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Had a little time to fiddle with Novastar. She's cool.

Today we threw a nice party at a park. Both the Tronettes' birthdays are this week. Party was GREAT! After we wrapped it up, I was sent on a side quest to pick up dinner for the fam. I hit a spot that sits in front of a Super Target I don't get to that often. I figured I had enough time to jump in and check the toy aisles.

Lo and behold! The last three Prime Masters I needed!

After these two PotPie pick-ups, all I need is P/CP, Wreckgar, and Prediking and I can say PEACE OUT to the Prime Wars Trilogy! :KREMZEEK:

I am, kinda messed up they'd take that mold and nerf it. Might as well have kept the peg in there, did it really gain anything?

To play devil's advocate for a moment, I can see why they did it (or at least the thinking they used). After all, Chromia was never a combiner limb in old G1 so why make her one here? To them, it didn't matter if you didn't have enough Fembots to make Elita 1 perfect (though I guess they probably figured she could just borrow some of Victorion) as she could go with any limbs she wanted, same with Starscream and Inferno. So there wouldn't be any point in keeping her peg in, plus they would have thought parents might not be too happy their kid wanting the rest of the combiner that (in Hasbro's version of events) would have passed from store shelves. So, while I'm not going to lie, I am disappointed, I can still understand why it had to be so. Though I would just have uncombined anyway, till she felt like nicking some autobot limbs of the other guys, I don't think they would say no to her :lol:

Nope, but I am baffled as to why another Chromia so soon? It took 'em 30 years to make the the first, why dupe so quickly? Why not just do the mint green lady bot or some other pastel color? And why pastels?

And even if she did combine, we'd still be short one combining lady bot >:oP

As far as I'm concerned about Siege Chromia - one less toy to buy ;)^

I got Nova as well, still gotta open her, and you and I have the same plans for our Elita-Inf1intes! I think of it as the babes, the crazy bartender, and the sweet smooth musician teaming up when drunkatron tries to wreck the club!

Yeah, I think I missed something here, replace Smokescreen with Wreck Gar and imagine him as a bartender and there we go.

But Smokescreen does look good on that combiner too. You should use Bluestreak instead of Smokescreen so you have an actual IDW bartender there!

Mirage had a Lost Light nightclub, and Bluestreak became Swerve's 2nd employee as a bartender after Ten was employed as the bouncer. So technically bluestreak counts!

Came home Monday evening from a trip down to the in-law's to celebrate both the Tronettes' birthdays (both happen in the same week), and a visit to the Renn Faire, to find a goodie waiting for me.

I'm just gonna leave this haul here for now. Too afraid I'll be lynched by the angry mob for actually getting one. Let alone getting it early. :-s

He's pretty dope! I hope everybody gets their's.
I do wish he had feet instead of those Combiner Wars stumps. I get why it was done in CW, but here I feel they could have done something better. Aside from that, he employs some neat transformation bits, and is still a really fun figure.
Now to find some time to do the misassembly fix.

And to prove that sometimes **** just gets weird around here.

Yeah, mine still hasn't shipped yet. Still says tomorrow. I'm fine with next week or even next month, just get here eventually and don't pull that Walmart ****.
