Just tossing this out there: that sunsurge and his red repaint just look funky. mainly the legs are too long for my liking

I dont think its garbage, just not to my liking. While I understand why they commmand such a high price, I can rarely bring myself to seeing it worthwhile to splurge on one of those toys. Especially when another company might make a better one the year after.

I dont think its garbage, just not to my liking. While I understand why they commmand such a high price, I can rarely bring myself to seeing it worthwhile to splurge on one of those toys. Especially when another company might make a better one the year after.

I was more being sarcastic with "3rd party garbage" he isn't to my liking but he could be awesome, the same way others like Hercules or Quantron may be amazing, they just aren't my cup of tea. The legs on him just looked weird

The back of the car looks funky to me too. Other than that the figure looks great. And Countachs always win!

I'm pretty sure that's G1 Trailbreaker. I had him as a kiddo, cool/fun toy.

Hi just got back from seeing Star wars with the wife. How's everybody? Good? Good.

My only nose scrunch with Surgio is also his legs, but the G1 toy had really odd skinny legs too.

So they kinda did a good job of updating the toy. Those feet on Surgio are pretty awesome though. I like his Countache roller skates.

Those animations are cool. I think the Trailbreaker is just a toy truck with a scratch built camper top, painted to look like Trailbraker's alt mode.

Sunstreaker and Trailbreaker, two of the goofiest proportioned G1 toys of all time. Love 'em! :lol:

D, I have been a Star wars fan longer than I've been a Transformers fan. There are things about the movie.
But, let's just say I've seen it twice and have rigorously enjoyed it, both times. ;)^

Well carythewhoeveryouare, I think you are right. Must have used some Photoshop sorcery to make it match up size wise.

Which one are you after? The generations one we got a few years ago is pretty cool. I keep eye balling the CW one and I hope I have the strength to leave it on the peg when it hits retail. Or are you going old skool and shooting for the G1 rubber wheeled beer gut version?

That was my guess as well.

Cobs, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I saw it twice and love it. I too have been a star wars fan longer than transformers. I have so many figures and lightsabers. Heck, I even made my own when I went to Disney a few years back, along with an astromech droid. It was so cool!

And Cary: I have the generations version (Lost Light crew and loving him). Funny story for you: So Trailbreaker has been my fav for a while. When I saw him in Walmart, I got him and he had my first comic book. So that thrilling 30 guy actually hooked me onto the comics. And I will get the CW version. I really want a masterpiece one, but would def not mind having a G1 guy for sure!

And Cobs: I uploaded all kinds of old pics (since the other ones disappeared) in my den and some new ones, including a 2008 Breakaway (AKA G1 Getaway) that I think you may enjoy. Check it out if you have the chance! You will also see some Star Wars stuff as well

I've got a local seller dangling that carrot in front of me. Only selling as a set for $10 more than retail. I'm going wait and I'm only interested in two of them.

I'm dying to see Trailbreaker in hand though. I'd love to see an in hand pic of that bot with his hand/foot shoved in the backpack.
