I have that Soundblaster, and I like it. I passed on the walmart one because I had him, but I am getting the Takara Selects one for the Mercenary badge, and then the FOC one will probably go back to the regular con shelf instead of the Mercenary shelf

I am happy to announce that my first two display cases will ship on Monday (fingers crossed). With that, I am starting with my G1 collection, followed by G2 and assorted European G1/G2. That is my goal for the first two cases. Laid out on the floor i have 84-88. A note about my 1988 ones ,I do not own any of the Pretenders that came out that year. Kind of hard to tell somewhat but you can kind of see how they are grouped.
Very excited and finally able to move forward with this.

Nothing really new other than my display cases should arrive today or tomorrow (i hope). Besides that, while going through a couple more totes, came across some of my RID, Energon, and Cybertron bots and cons. Took a nice photo of Cybertron Primus alongside SS Devastator. The other two photos are just a random shot of what I had/have laid out.

Oh I believe it, I have plans to start a reshuffle of the collection tonight, partially started because the wife accidentally knocked over almost my entire Lost Light and Unicron Trilogy shelves with a christmas gift last week. I hate when things are not quite in order, and in your case that's a lot!

I am eager to see it all on display!

Talking about a reshuffle, I can only imagine. You have a lot displayed. I was just going over what i have documented and comparing that to the display cases I will need versus shelf space. Sadly, there could be a series out of luck that i cannot display. That’s ok too, I don’t see rotating out a shelf but could see downsizing somewhat of what I have. But I should have the main series covered. That’s why I am not seeking out anymore ER or waiting on the Kingdom line. Need to get everything out and on the shelves.
Like I have said before my first two cases will have G1, then G2, with European/Takara G1-G2, Machine Wars, assorted Beast Wars/Beast Machines and perhaps Armada. That’s all in theory and hope it works out. Then it will be time to order two more cases.
Enough of that, my Christmas was good with the family, a lot of “Zoom” time

. Hope yours was too.

I'm glad you have a plan. Main thing I need to start with is my large shelf, which is 6 shelves of 35" x 24" from IKEA. I need to adjust the heights to move the TV in one to a better spot in the den, and then move all the movie cons over to there. That shelf will end up being almost entirely movie bots and cons. Then the Beasts will move to the shelf currently holding movie cons so they have more room for Selects God Neptune, Kingdom, and a few more additions coming. Then comes the new locations for Animated, Lost Light, and Star Wars.

The display cases showed up today. Took a couple of hours to assemble both, ALOT of glass. Good thing the wife was working from home, that back piece is a two person job. Anyways, got my G1 collection (84-88) on the shelves. Of note, I do not have any of the pretenders from 88! Of course I still need to look for a few weapons that are not displayed but stored away. But for the most part, I believe I have them all displayed according to year. With the exception of those displayed on top but they look good there.
The case on the right, top shelf, is my European and Japanese G1/G2 time frame. Not that many but some of my favorites. Second shelf, kind of looks alittle out of whack but that is all my G2. Still need to work on this shelf, transforming bots and cons from vehicle mode to robot. That will free up space. So this shelf will look better in a day or two.
We’ll see how the rest goes. I’m trying to keep them in a year group so to speak but with the same line, if that makes sense.

UPDATE!

For the most part my first two display cases are set. Finished up today on the second one.

The 3rd shelf, is a mix of Beast Wars (that includes a couple of series within that realm) and Machine Wars.

The 4th fourth shelf, is RID!

Bottom shelf area, is my Armada series.

If you look closely on some, yes I am missing a weapon or minicon or something else but wanted to get them displayed.

I have to go through a couple of boxes that has my weapons, which I need to get organized as well. As it has weapons from the G1 combiners etc.

In regards to what is setting on top, for one, some of those didn’t fit on the shelf

but they are a combination of what is on the shelves below them; representing some of the series.

I will take another photo during the day.

Thank you, they are just a frameless display case, no real defined name. I bought them at KC Store Fixtures in KC, MO. Price wise, they are listed at 375.00, unfortunately the down size was shipping and other taxes. Good part, I live in southern Missouri. For both of them everything included, is was 1,100 dollars.
Another note on the cases, apparently you can get them with lights, but I put in my own type of light under each shelf.
Next round I will order two more, then one more after that. It is a lot of glass and you have to inspect each piece before signing for it.

Wow. That all looks great in those cases... What I really appreciate is how clean it looks; even though my favorite style is mid-century modern, for displaying, those are incredible!
Must feel amazing to have that much of your collection set-up so nicely!

Just took some photos of how the room is currently. Minus the tools and painting stuff, that is for another area fo the house.

I will say I have reshuffled a couple of my series so that they are readily available once I purchase my next display cases. The series up next will be Energon (which you can see on top of the totes), followed by Cybertron. If things work out, next wil be Universe, Universe 2.0 and Reveal the Shied, with BOTCON/TFCC and finishing up with my Masterpiece. That is hopefully one case. The fourth case will be 07 movie through TLK. We’ll see how that goes. I am considering to mix in the SS line within those movies but haven’t decided just yet.
Back to the room, I have started to hang a few things on the wall.
Overall, I am just happy to get this room going.

So with not cluttering up the forum for Netflix transformers, wanted to show off the weapon upgrade kit I bought for NF Wheeljack, from Matrix Workshop M-30.
As you can see from the photos, especially for the shoulder cannons, they are much bigger than the original one that comes with WJ. I personally love this upgrade. I may even tweak these with some paint. I have already ordered their kit for Siege/NF Red Alert. If your looking to add additional weapons, this might be the kit for you.

Again something that definitely looks better or is an improvement over the factory weapon. I loaded the pictures at a lower size so wasn’t for sure if they look distorted, making it hard to really tell.
Like i mentioned before, I have ordered the upgrade set for Red Alert (shoulder cannon and rifle). I have found two more kits, one for Sideswipe (shoulder cannon and rifle) and the has a longer rifle for Chromia and. A extension for Ultra Magnu’s gun. Personally a nice addition, to enhance or relocate what weapons they had in the NF series.

Next addition, i ordered a set of helmet brackets, just arrived today and got them mounted. Doesn’t look too bad with my OP and Bumblebee helmets mounted on the wall. Hopefully you can tell with the photos, I was taking pics from different angels. Small note, the one photo is to highlight Bee and Energon Unicron hanging out under my desk. :-D
