Effortlessly? Maybe in the sense that Takara put almost no effort into that repaint, lol. Despite Greejeeber (or Gregevor, if you will) being a male character, the figure still reads as female to me, particularly because the face was not at all resculpted. He's got some pouty lips and a slender jaw. It really is all in the face.
The irony in this is that, when Warrior Strongarm was first shown, people were complaining that its face wasn't feminine enough for the already not-feminine toy to represent a female character.

Well, I'm going to grin and bear it, the personalities they'll be displaying in the comics hopefully will make me like the toys better. I agree that they're not as feminine as I'd like them to be, but I can deal with it.

Herro. Finally got my computer back. here we go:

I really frikkin like her. Yeah, she is repaints with slight remolding, but it looks good to me! Yay for new hands and feel. ankle tilts! And the heels look will help raise her up. that torso is a bit shorter than the rest.

Individuals: They are nice. Yes, that one head sculpt looks like a barbie doll, but i'm actually ok with it. All the heads look good to me! The names are interesting too. I like that they are not just a -con or -bot team. they have a totally unique team name!

Colors: They are loud and absolutely obnoxious, BUT IT IS FRIKKIN AWESOME.

Overall: I am glad I took part in this. I am very happy with the result. and don't fret too bad. She is not coming out for 10 months! I doubt this will stay as is over those next 10 months

Good to me. Disagree at your discretion. I LOVE HER. I WILL OWN HER. End of story :BOT:

The idea of combined mode weapons is beautifully executed here, like amazing!! That is a great sword broken up nicely between the members. Good job Hasbro! :BOT:

Don't we just love circles.

You know its ironic. And someone in IDW could REALLY be capitalizing on this the way Gene Roddenberry and so many could grab a current topic by the horns and spin it into a good story. But while we're all fighting about looks and appearences, the real world is raging a very heated, and very un-moving argument about whether or not Gender is something that one is born with physically or something to be felt (as an element of the soul, although everyone I see making the so-called spiritual argument is also atheist?) And here in the comics you have a species of robots who more-or-less until someone goes into HOW they differ (and actually, I'm kinda glad they have just glossed over) get to choose their sexual affiliation. (Or maybe they don't maybe its another aspect of their spark, again, soul argument, but hey, glossed over).

And maybe that was IDW's intention with Nautica, but having to play safer to a younger audience and a more politically (in)correct powderkeg of a society that explodes over trivial things that haven't been insulting for 200 years means that Star Trek TOS-style life commentary attempts are simply failing to work.

And now that I say that, that's probably not a conversation that could be carried here safely...

The assertion that they don't look female begets the question, what is a female supposed to look like, what makes a female, what are the differences from a male, or any other sex or gender. It also brings up the question, could they have done better with the budget allotted to them? Did they need to, or are people judging too harshly? It's a much more complicated issue than you make it out to be.

Also ironhidesh they aren't half-arsed to me ;) though I agree with that bots summary of the issue.

The alt modes are switched. Skyburst is paired with Stormclash's vehicle mode and vice-versa. It should be this.

They were easier to find.

Like I said before, I love victorion, they just need to add/fix their paint, and change the combiner head to the one we saw in the comic and am sold.

If they could just adjust the tones of the plastics and paints to match those of the comic book prints, it would help a LOT towards making Victorian less of an eye sore.

You misunderstand. He's knocking on the fact that these six are all remolds of preexisting molds instead of being brand new molds. To him, redecos and remolds of preexisting molds are "lazy" and everyone should have their own unique new molds, with the only exceptions being those who were redecos way back at the beginning of G1 (Seekers, Datsuns, Sideswipe/Red Alert, etc.).

Even though that isn't in hasbros best interests money wise. Which is an important point to always bare in mind, hasbro wants to make a profit at the end of the day. The fact that their products brings happiness to us is secondary to them, a nice bonus.

Kana, you may be onto something about that good night rest malarkey.
