They don't look terrible but they don't look great either. If some grey/black was thrown in the mix it would probably look a lot better. I'd also like to wonder what the dragstrip mold would look like in this set instead of the Breakdown mold. As it is I would be interested in getting this box set as long as funds permit it.

I think they look better than they originally did, the muted colours look a little better than the garish bright clashing colours, but I think they have now ended up bland, perhaps a little black could have been used to break up the palette a little, did a quick photoshop as an example.
I think Pyra Magna looks the best.

The touch of black does look nice and does help break some stuff up. But the other colors have kind of grown on me and I am ok with it not having those touches of black

Prime Arcee's cool, but the bodytype kinda limits the toy potential - it makes for a decent bike and an okay jet, but when you start diversifying altmodes you either get awkward shellformers like Thunderblast, weirdly curvy altmodes like G1 Arcee, (although she gets a nostalgia-pass) or utterly painful stuff (hellformers) like Airachnid. The standard femaleformer bodytype doesn't really lend itself to stuff like tanks and bulldozers.

I think that fits a bit better.

If people don't know what combined mode of arms and legs look like by now it's kinda sad look at other combiner figures limbs to find out its torso part of combiner that is main display of combiner no one really got good look what torso part of combiner look like arms and legs not that important

The colours don't look as bad as they did before but they're still fairly eye-searing. The way the combiner head is just straight-up poking out in vehicle mode really sucks. And the complete lack of any form of parts integration with the new hands and feet is just pathetic. The hand-foot-guns weren't great but at least they did SOMETHING.

One way or another it still would not be made like that Victorion is the fan built combiner who was stated to be made of new Transformers just like how Windblade was the fan built individual robot.


I hope if we get something like a fan built headmaster this year that it's a male for the sake of diversity I got no problem with fembots but it gets boring when you know that every single one of the fan made Transformers is going to be female.

Good thing is this though: Vicky is due out in 2 months or so, and Comp isn't due out till August, so you got some time to make the cash and enjoy one without having to prioritize the other

I wish there was one or two more colors to break up everything, but it's not bad. I'm still going to get her though.

No I get why it makes sense. I just didn't like how it looked like the robot arms were just on the side of the copter, especially for vortex's being a bright yellow. Although the mold did look good as arms, it didn't have 5mm port all the way through, so they couldn't hold the hand/foot/guns underhand which is the only angle they look good from. I also can't find a configuration I actually like with arm mode. Don't get me wrong, I like the missiles, but I certainly like these retools much better.

That's what I've been saying about Computron. At least liokaiser's boxart looks like he uses standard hand/foot/gun

Wait for the TT treatment. Machine Robo also implemented a similar type, the torso was a rescue vehicle but the limbs were "kangufu" female type bikes.

I'm so torn on this set. I really want to like it but there is just so much here I don't care for like the fact there are two helicopters, and the color palette. I think I'll save my money for Computron instead.

Either color works for me, but are these a Sage green, or a gray?

My department owns a Web tool that converts data from our contract groups to our technical groups. Everytime we add a new feature, my boss wants us to make it easy enough for a Liberal Arts BA. Then he says, "kurthy, you're designing it." I have a degree in math, which is unfortunately in most universities' liberal arts programs.

Yeah, that's the way I feel. I'm tired of AB, BD, and DE. I need more dragstrip with a different weapon, skydive, rook, air raid, and brawl. At least the voyager is Hotspot. If it had been SB or MM, I probably would have passed.

I think if you're colorblind, you win on this set because they're all gray. To me, it just looks like someone threw up on a transformer. Hopefully reprolabels will come to the rescue to break up the colors.

That sword though.....looks so Piranacon.
