Would you believe it's all freehand handbrushing? I do have an airbrush, but I only cart it out for bigger projects. I've just been doing model painting since my childhood, so I have a good gauge on the right paint consistency, brush technique, coat thickness etc.
Also the games workshop paint I used was great. "Leadbelcher" beaufiful gunmetal colour and goes on and self levels like an absolute dream considering the metallic particulate.
