They said it gets really old really fast in terms of levels.
Pft.
Whatever. The problem with that rationale is that the game isn't even LONG enought to have levels 'get really old'. They didn't play it enough to even have the realization that the biggest problem with single player is that it's kind of short.
Concerning the group of people we are and the kinds of players on various Transformers boards and their intersts, you seem intently set upon disregarding the comments and reviews of fellow TF enthusiasts. Between my review here and the one at TFW, the game is pretty fairly shaken down for what it is and what it isn't.
From the sound of your posts, you have even yet to play the game.
To be honest, it doesn't matter to me if you agree or disagree with my view point on the game (though, I'm still not entirely sure you read it). What I don't want is the cluster of heresay you keep bringing up to have undue influence on anyone considering the game.
Now if someone who has actually played it comes in here and disagrees with me.
Great! That's something interesting and up for debate.
Some jerks at Gamestop who are bound and gagged by corporate to hate any movie related game, should get zero consideration from anyone here. Especially with the availability of so many like minded fans around to discuss the matter with.
So, what you are saying is that just trust you, a person I don't know in real life and distrust everybody that works in a gameing store that plays the games as soon as they come out. Hmmm...
For your information, I used to run a EB for about 7 years, I would trust a game store employee in a heart beat. We would be resposible to play the games as soon as they hit the shelf because our customers depends on us to give them the true break down of a game because we liked to keep the customers happy so they would return and buy yet more games.
AS for this forum to be pretty much a loose group of like mined Transfans, that point is moot.
We all have different levels of interests and abilities when it comes to gaming. I for one, since I moved into working for the State and getting married and having a kid, don't have the time to game like I used to back in my EB days.
So, feel free to give out advice to potential buyers, but I say this, visit a gaming store, (EB, Gamestop, Babbages..etc. ) and find a person that you trust on your games which in terms should equal your money well spent or money wasted. Do your homework before each buy.
As for getting some basic feedback from other readers or posters, perhaps you should allow a healthy response instead of a knee jerk reactions from your PC that somebody would ask for more input that they ignore your review all together and seek more reviews.
As for the game, I might check out the game the next time I go to the rental store and then perhaps I will post what I think of the game or maybe not. I am a part time gamer. I have a child with special needs and she takes up most of my time.
Till next time, CP, take a chill pill and try not to insult somebody who you think did not read your review and then posts a response for more input about a game or anything. Diversity is a wonderfull thing.
