yeah, its not the best quality, but its a good representation of what fans REALLY want!

i actually like prime better with flames but urs is awsome none the less

I finally found one for myself with the intent to paint "G1 accurate", but now I dont think it suits him so much.

I will say that I've seen one G1 custom (on here maybe?) that had a metallic paint job that looked REALLY good.

That really isnt that good. The concept is great and im surprised more people havnt done it already, but this one is really lame. The paint apps look horrid, and the white looks like tip-ex.

Some of you guys are unbelievable. The guy that painted that custom is probably really proud of it. Not everybody around here can be the next Jin. This is one of the reasons that I don't post my kitbashes here. Because some of you (who are seemingly lacking in the social department) have no way to express your criticism in a constructive way. I could easily say that "I think someone's home drawn Optimus Prime, with a hugely over-sized head, poor colors, and what appears to be mucus lines dripping from all of the corners is awful". But I don't because I appreciate everybody's effort and willingness to share around here. Oh, and if you want to criticize me,...I'm afraid I wont be able to respond until I get home from my full time job.

I expecting "Bitch" as and Insult and would like To Convert it to "Dog"

Anyway Thats Really Nice I mean Look at ot True white is chippy But That Chrome is BADASS!!

The white trim isn't good. That's it. Sucks that trailer isn't part of the same auction too.

I don't think anyone is expecting something on the level of Jin. It's a simple repaint, but probably better than what I can do. The white trim is the only problem, at least to me. But he is eBaying this after all. If you're going to sell your work, the quality should be better.

What on earth are you talking about?

I think it's a great piece of work.

some people can (and I quote) "slap a brush into some paint, bla bla bla" but peiece like the one on ebay here too some creativity and innovation. It's not just a repaint, he incorporated style and and idea into it.

I have to say, some people don't have the balls to think outside the box, why crucify someone who has? If you were looking for a forum that's all about you, make your own website.

and before you start crying to mods again, this isn't directed at anyone in particular.

Yo, one thing you need to learn is that in life not everyone lies to people. I for example don't like to suger coat anything, so if i think something looks like crap then im gonna say it looks like crap. Im not trying to be mean or anything, im just being honest. If you cant take honesty in this world then you need to learn how to, because the world isnt suger coated and you arent wrapped in bubble wrap.

And whose optimus prime picture are you referring to? It better not be the one in my sig because i will have you know that is one of the best pictures i have ever drawn, and it is perfectly proportioned as i used the actual MP figure for reference. If you think otherwise then show me your drawing skills and then we'll see who has room to talk.

I have the right to criticize as i am a well experienced painter, so if i see something that is horribly executed and poorly made, and then the person has the front to try and sell it for a high price then im obviously going to have something to say about it.

And if you are too afraid to show your customs on an Internet forum where nobody knows who you really are or even care then you have some deep issues and you should see a doctor.

What is so creative about this? G1 Prime colors on a movie leader class Prime....thats the most commonly spoken of re-paint in the history of the recent design of toys, whats so "out of the box" about it?

If it was done better and didn't look like it was covered in tip-ex then it would look great, but since the paint is really rough it looks like complete garbage. Im sure its owner put a lot of effort into it but that doesn't mean i have to like it.

Even you could do a better job than this.

I never repainted a TF yet, so I don't know how hard it is.

Just think back at what your first work looked like, was it better?

I think the whole point is that he's selling it on Ebay. Would you sell your a drawing you did as a 10 year old on Ebay and expect people to not think it looks bad? I mean I would never put something up for sale if it something didn't look right. I would do it over until it was worthy of someones cash. Those lines show me that this figure wasn't ready to be put up yet.

I don't agree. Shoot me. I think each artist has their own standards. Each person has their own taste. Perhaps you might think this looks bad, but someone out might love it. Maybe the guy who painted it is really proud of it, maybe it took him 5 months. I also think there's a good chance someone on this (or another) board inspired this guy to pick up a paint brush and make his own custom TF. Is this how we show him attention, but claiming his product sucks?

I don't think it's fair to the artist. A true artist's eye sees deeper than first impressions.

wile I look at my first Prime drawing, it looks like something abstract and kinda looks like made by Picaso.

But no I wouldn't put any of my pics for sale, cos I don't know I kinda look at them like my kids (ohoh) I really don't like giving them away.

Yes you're right but I've seen worse on ebay, stuff were the paint chips off and really full of bubbles.
I wouldn't buy it, but I don't bash someones work just becos he thinks its good, I don't know how difficult it is as I said.

But not just that, I mean we're a community, we should stick toghether but it looks like certain members just love picking at each other, this is the third thread I have encountered that past 2 days were the same guys flame each other.
