hey guys. this is my first custom paint on the transformers. i do not dare yet to try on the complex model so i use the FAB which is more simple as the testing grounds.

my first attempt was on Speed Dial. mainly because i don't really like the grey color on him, so i just paint him a black color. mine has no numbers printed on the keypad from the start (talk about quality control) so i just cover all the grey with black color. others i leave it as the way they are.

Please feel free to comment. i am still a newbie in kitbash. so please give your comment so i can improve my abilities....

For Starscream, i first wanted to use the gunship gray color. but i run out of it and i found that i have a USAF Tan color which i apply on him. but it makes him more like a desert camo airplane. what do you guys think? haha and i also let the jet parts color unscratch. because i think most jet has a slick color.

I Think (yes, Think) you should work more on FAB starscream..

Speed Dial looks very realistic with that black color, especially in the phone mode.

Starscream looks good with the tan color, really military looking. However, I think he needs more detail done with the head and on his plane mode. Maybe some blackwash over the body so the detail lines in his plane mode stand out more, and so it looks a bit weathered. Other then that, he looks great!

thanks guys for your reply and suggestion. i think i should work again on the starscream. may be i will follow your advice on giving more detail on it.
