Most of these are amazing. It's going to be a great year after a long drought. :D

Scourge - Not bad. Might get him, depends on how he looks when we get better pics.

Jazz - Absolutely perfect. Couldn't ask for more.

Perceptor - Not really digging the vehicle mode, but the bot mode looks decent, if a little kibbly. Will likely pick him up because I love the character, and I need a modern version.

Tracks - Also a little kibbly in bot mode, but otherwise awesome. Will buy for sure. It's been a long time coming.

Thunderwing - Maybe. Until Stormbringer I had no exposure to the character whatsoever, but I thought he was cool. It would give me an excuse to buy the G1 version, not that I could afford it.

Grapple - Looks great, but I'm going to pass because he's not a character I collect. One version of this mold is good enough for me, as awesome as it is.

Lugnut - Even if that's mistransformed, it looks pretty bad. I don't like the long arms and the tail pointing down on the bot mode a la Movie Incinerator. It always feels lazy when they leave the airplane tail like that. Will likely pass on this one, which is okay. I would sort of like the excuse to get the Animated version, but I don't really need it.

Windcharger - Heck yeah! He's never looked better!

Legends - I'm really not sure about these. I made a decision to not buy Legends for my Neo G1 display if they have a larger version of a character. But some of these are really cool, like Starscream. I'm also suprised by a gun Megatron. If I get these they would need a separate display, which I don't really have the space for. Plus I already have a sizeable collection of WSTs, which I prefer. I guess I'll probably skip these.

Dinobots - Okay, I'm finally impressed by PCCs. Nice work, Hasbro. I see they managed to use Dino heads for hands, which works a lot better than the ugly claws. Only problem is, Grimstone is Slag, and I only collect Grimlocks. :( Too expensive to start buying all the other Dinobots.... Actually, someone want to go over the versions for me? I don't collect Beasties, and already have almost all versions of ol' Grimmy, and no interest in Device Label 'Grimlock' so that leaves the others:

G1 Dinobots
Energon Dinobots (don't have this Grimlock)
Animated Snarl & Swoop

...Anything else?

My thoughts exactly. I was debating whether to sell my botcon Scourge and Sweeps now before the price drops when Universe Scourge comes out. Now, I am not so sure. I might keep them after all.

Scourge does look mis-transformed to me. He may end up looking better when he is released.

Scourge will probably look a lot better outside of a mistransformed blurry photo, but I think most are with me in being disappointed that he didn't get a more G1-ish look.

They totally missed the boat on giving him articulated wings too. That was one good thing about Titanium Scourge.

Actually, he's not. Slag is a triceratops, and if you look closely, you'll see that Grimstone is actually a styracosaurus.

Yes, this again. I am now going to start a thread where I complain about how it is unfair to those of us who spent big $$ on the Botcon exclusive releases only to have Hasbro release something equivalent for around $12. I will then rant about how I feel betrayed by Hasbro and that I am never going to buy a BotCon exclusive again. This will rally a bunch of posts falling into two categories: 1) those who also feel betrayed and 2) those who feel it is unfair to have exclusive figures priced outside of their price range. Posts in category 1) will be elitist in nature with people boasting about how much they spend on their collection. Posts in category 2) will be calls for sympathy with people complaining that they are not made out of money, can only buy what they can afford, and should not be priced out of completing their set.

Yes, it is very much "this again".

G1 Jazz has been at the top of my 'to buy' list for a long time now, but I believe this new Jazz has just knocked it into second place. I'm so glad we're finally going to get a great Jazz figure, because most of them are way too boxy and un-articulated to enjoy, and if they're not, then the toy is the size of my thumb. Anyway, I really like Tracks too. Can't wait for these and HA Jazz to hit the shelves around here!

What, news of Scourge is hitting home NOW? We knew about this for a while. I don't see the big deal, he's a totally different mold than Botcon Scourge, unlike the Seekers.

You know, they're planning on making a Kup too, right?

Welp, If I have money, I be getting those. Though I must say, Perceptor does not fill me with warms and fluffies. When they said "truck", I was hoping for the Animated-style. Though the treads homaging his treads from the Micromantank days is a nice touch. I wondder if you can slpilt the back for the scope like the Ani design did.

I love Scourge, but I wanna see he head. The wings look kinda odd, but it'll work for him. I've not gotten to see his IDW form, is it close?

And Lugnut makes a nice fig too. He's different than hius Ani self, but I like the arms better, and he doesn't have an Axe he can't use.

Lugnut is... disappointing.

Interesting that Steamhammer isn't a Sledge repaint. I wonder how well the PCC Constructicons will look next the the ROTF Legends Constructicons. The PCC commanders and thus their combined form would obviously be a bit large, but, hey, over a dozen Constructicons at loosely similar scales!

Unlike the Seekers, it's not even the same damn toy, so people have no excuse to complain. If they don't like it, either don't buy the new one, or make a separate display for Botcon figs. Hell, throw the Botcon one in with Cybertron, even. That's what I would do if I had both.

I guess people forgot already. I have that Jazz too, he's going in with Cybertron as well, when I get the new Jazz. Weird, a lot of Cybertron molds get the G1-ification, it seems.

I think that's because it was a generally lackluster attempt at the figure.

Also, that Jazz was evil.

So far the only passes for me right now are Scourge, the PCC, and the Legends. I'm going to wait on Lugnut to see if that is a mis-transformation or not. Scourge just doesn't look "right" to me. I may end up buying one or two to be Sweeps to Botcon Scourge though if I find them on sale.

Everything else will be pre-ordered and purchased as soon as it becomes available.

I basically blacked out (no pun intended) as soon as I read the heading. :BOOM: A tad bit disappointed on Scourge, but still getting him. :-( I screamed like one of Starscream's army of fangirls when I looked at Jazz, Perceptor, Thunderwing, and the PCC's  =P~ . A bit surprised on Lugnut. Is Windcharger a HFTD figure or a Generations one? Also, Legends-class Megatron is a most definite buy for me. :x He'd go great with my MP Skywarp and maybe the future Thundercraker if Wal-Mart decides to release him. So to round all this out in one emote....
