They totally missed the boat on giving him articulated wings too. That was one good thing about Titanium Scourge.

My thoughts exactly. The photos here just aren't the best for conveying detail. Let's wait until some clearer pics come along.

And yes, I know it's in our nature to jump the gun with 'ruined FOREVER!' I'm just putting my sunny side forward. ;)
Not caring about scale since 1984. Just like Hasbro.

For those of you complaining about Jazz and Scourge's vehicle modes. Stop being so geewun!
Considering how much I hate the movies and everything about them, you'd think I'd never say anything like that. But, please remember that this is the Classics/Universe/Generations line we're talking about.
Almost everyone has gone through slight revamps in this line. That's the point!

Now where was I? Oh yeah!

Classics Jazz is teh shizz. Bought on site, and possibly stolen Chinese as well.
And his vehicle does look like a Porsche, or at least as close as you can get.

Scourge now has 80% less boat, 30% more awesome, and 50% more bat. Which I actually like, unlike most of you. His alt mode also reminds me of G1 Cybertronian seekers.

Perceptor is far from perfect. But his original form was a tank microscope... thing. So it's not really a surprise that he looks completely different. My biggest gripe is that he kinda looks TF Cyberton-ish.

Tracks looks terribly mis-transformed (much like the rest of them here) and he has a giant backpack. So he may actually be the one I'm least impressed with. Though I'll need to see more pics to be sure.

Thunderwing... I changed my mind. This is the big disappointment out of this group. I mean, WTF he's a deluxe!?! Did they design this before they decided to go back on the whole "Generations will only have deluxe" thing? Thunderwing is meant to be imposing and massive! Now he's shorter than his underling Bludgeon.
He should have been an ultra. No smaller.

Grapple has his crane. What else do you really need? Otherwise he and inferno looked exactly the same in G1.

Lugnut. Oh good Lord dem arms!

Stockade wrote:I'm really not impressed with these images from Hasbro at all! I think they have too much Bayphilia

You need to get your personal Bayometer checked. Windcharger is the only guy from Generations line that even remotely looks Bayformers. And even then, he looks more HFTD than anything else.

As for everything else here... Nope don't really care.
Though I might have liked the Dinobots, had they been Predaking instead.

Wait. I just noticed something. Look at Scourge's gun. It looks a lot like Fracas. Could there be a possible targetmaster parter included?

No there won't be, but his gun was designed to look like Fracas in gun mode.

Jazz looks fantastic in botmode, he needs a better G1-ish gun tho and a missile launcher. Carmode looks very nice but i would like it to be a bit more sleeker with a longer rear and a spoiler with less bulk. Still finally a Jazz classic fig ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!

Tracks looks ok in botmode, arms appear to be a bit too chubby and i am missing the wings, instead i see some odd parts dangling from the back. Carmode is nice looking but i'd like to see it have a flight mode and a more G1 hood sticker/emblem.

Scourge looks great in botmode, but his vehicle mode is way too plain. Hasbro should make it look more like the G1 version. They also need to add his targetmaster. But then again, Blurr should come with a targetmaster as well. Maybe Fansproject can make some targetmasters for these if Hasbro doesn't?

Grapple looks great in both modes, but i would like the crane to be able to attach to the back.

Perceptor looks good in his botmode, but why does he transform into a car? Why not have it transform into a tank with a sort of microscope in between mode?

Windcharger is cool, but nothing special. Other figures shown i don't care about.

Just to clear a few things up:

Tracks has a flight mode.
Tracks' hood deco can't be used anymore because it would require licensing.
Most of these figures are mistransformed compared to the BotCon photos.

The signature chevron shaped flame deco isn't there. Instead it looks like a bunch of red and yellow lightning bolts. At least, that's what I can make out from these fuzzy pics.

It's the classic Trans Am Firebird logo. Tracks' was basically that with an Autobot logo slapped over it.

Image

Image

It's too close, and I think they were afraid of having to pay to license it.

Now my memory may have been faulty, but I'm fairly sure that was a comment made when it was unveiled during BotCon.

(And yes, I know they released that sticker in the US with Alt. Swerve)

I knew it actually looked like something specific, but I couldn't remember what it was called.
Didn't even find a specific mentioning of it on TFwiki. :-?

I really didn't want to like the PCC line but man...those look wicked awesome.. I just picked up bombshock and I'm blown away..The poseability is wicked and the option to mix and match limbs is a huge plus..I hope they release some more drone packs..That would be icing on the PCC cake :)

It's supposed to. While it isn't a Targetmaster like Cyclonus's was, it's supposed to be an homage of his original gun and his Targetmaster's look, all in one.

Why he wasn't given the Targetmaster treatment is beyond me. It would've added something to his less than impressive figure.

Probably because HASBRO does not want to create the expectation that any figure that was a master will have their partner included somehow. Maybe they did not feel Nightstick turned out well enough for their liking so they trashed that idea. Maybe they thought it clashed with what was going on with PCC. ????

I'm just glad Scourge has some sort of reference to his old character, Thunderwing just looks like an RPM, turn him upside down and you have his robot mode.

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
Mixed bag.

Jazz I will definitely buy--perfect G1 homage.

Tracks? Words cannot describe how much love I have for such a G1 accurate representation of him.

Scourge looks mediocre.

Perceptor, not bad, but not great.

Thunderwing, Grapple, and Lugnut, I can do without.

Not crazy about the PCC's, either. Really wanted to like the Constructicons, but the freaky looking arms kiiled the fig for me.

The Dinobot combiner looks cool, but what's up with the "pope hat" headsculpt, or is that just kibble sticking up from his back? Will have to wait for better photos before passing any further judgment.

I'm lovin' Perceptor (despite he looks as though there is a lot of back kibble) and Jazz. I must own them!

I hope what you said about mis-transformation is true, because it looks like you only need to stand Thunderwing up to transform him lol! I hope he will be better than I think he will be. Only time will tell though as we get closer to his release and we can see him better.

What? That's ridiculous. If they can get away with making him a 'Corvette', and Prowl/Streak/Smokescren a 'Fairlady', they why couldn't they get away with this? I think they're just making up excuses.
