Killzone

Rampage is quite happy to plod along next to Heap after all as far as he's concerned the longer he stays outside the better. Even if autobots were wimps and weaklings who were more likely to run than fight; there was still a remote possibility that he's get a chance to sate his battle lust. Rampage watched Scramble go with indifference; after all it wasn't like what she was doing would effect him in any way.

The Killzone

"Well I can't say I know him by name.." Archangel began in reply to Brewer "..But there was an injured 'Bot near to the location of your distress signal, where I found this" The medic paused as he opened a compartment where he stored various instruments, and pulled out the communications device he recovered earlier, and handed it to Brewer "I think that this is yours. The 'Bot I looked over earlier looked to be about your height, maybe a bit smaller, and had a nasty chest wound, does that sound familiar?" Archangel asked, his internal comm device picking up another distress signal, this time from Skywatch.

Warthog looks down at Scramble as he descends to her position.

"Looks like these guys got beat to Junkion slag...Im afraid we may not have enough time to get all casualties out of here."

The Killzone

The information emitting from Archangel was, at first, disappointing. The next round shocked Brewer - something similar to a slap in the face. "My communications radio!" Graciously, he took the small device from the medic and thanked him kindly as he tucked it away into subspace for later repairs. "No wonder I had trouble sending other signals."

Brewer was then stunned once again by Archangel's further report. The 'bot he had described matched perfectly - location and all. "Yes, yes! That's the 'bot I'm looking for. How is he?" The S&R Specialist grew a bit worried to what he would be told. Dogfight was great soldier that did not deserve to be put out of commission so young. "Give me the worst so I can get my worst thoughts confirmed."

The Killzone - 'Medical' Convoy

Thankfully, Warthog and Scrambles' position was not far, and Heap managed to make it there in rather short order, with Rampage in tow. His treads coming to an aching, squealing halt, the injured Decepticons on top of his shifting slightly. To Scramble, he says, "Look, kid, I know you wanna do a good job, and I respect that, but just patch em up enough to get em back home and let's go; this place could erupt again any second...."

The Killzone - 'Medical' Convoy

Comeing to halt Rampage noses around a bit; he would prefer getting into a fight, but he does not voice his opinion. Rampage isn't quite so dumb enough as to upset the medics; after all he might like getting bashed about a lot (providing he got to bash about in return) but he was aware he could not continue on forever in his present state. Instead he meerly paced back and forth keeping his optics on the area around Heap and Scramble. No-one would sneak up on them; he wouldn't allow it. Rampage much prefered taking his foes head on rather than any silly sneak attacks.

The Killzone

"From what I saw, he was in a stable condition, I didn't have that much work to do on him.." Archangel began in reply to Brewer, trying his best to put his worries at ease "..You had repaired the majority of the major damage before I got there. When I left, he was in stasis lock, ready to be transported back to Medbay for further work and recharging, you did a good job, no doubt in my mind that he'll survive because of you"

Archangel paused briefly as he turned and looked around, trying to work out where Dogfight was in relation to where he and Brewer were standing "Come on, he's over in this direction.." The young medic pointed off to the left, before transforming and hovering overhead "..You can see him for yourself, follow me"

Killzone, Near the Autobot Lines

Springer had been driving around trying to find any other bots that needed help. He hadn't found much when he neared a broken down bunker.

"I sure hope Prime got insurance for this place," he said.

Suddenly, he noticed a distress signal nearby. After transforming to walk to the location, Springer finally reached the spot where Skywatch stretched face down.

"Come here, bud," Springer muttered as he knelt down to pick up the other Autobot. Springer had his own share of wear and injuries. Energon leaked from various wounds. He had char marks all over his armor. In short, he was kind of hurt. As a result, his face strained as he lifted the other Autobot over his shoulder. "This won't be too long a ride."

Springer staggered a bit on his way back through the Autobot lines.

He didn't look this heavy.

The triplechanger finally got to a more safe area. With his free hand, he cleared a surface from some debris and scrap metal to set Skywatch down. He let out a barely audible sigh of relief from the stress. He noticed
Archangel and Brewer.

"Hey, you're the medic, right?" asked Springer, pointing to Archangel. It was obvious from his slip of memory he had taken a few too many hits and needed some time for repairs. Still, he tried not to show anything beyond the occasional flinch in the face and a somewhat forced smile.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I think he needs a run in the xenon spas," he chuckled, pointing back to the unconscious Skywatch.[/b]

The Killzone

A sigh of relief escaped Brewer's vocalizers. So Dogfight was better than he thought - that was a weight of his chest. Just as the S&R Specialist transformed back to vehicle mode to follow Archangel, a voice spoke out behind them, acknowledging the other medic's useful abilities. The voice belonged to a bot known as Springer - Brewer had seen him before, but hadn't necessarily made conversation with him.

"If you want, Archangel, you can give me you estimated coordinates and I'll try scanning for him from there." The condition that the bot Springer was trying to get help for wasn't absolutely terrible, but he did need attention. "Those two need help, and we're the only two closest medics around."

The Killzone

"Hey there, the name's Springer," the triplechanger said to Brewer after overhearing him speak. Despite all the damage and carnage, he couldn't help but make small talk. "How about you two? Sorry for the need for introductions. I guess you can say this guy right here and I are shopping around for a new doctor right now. I tend to do the talking."

Warthog nods his agreement with Heap. "Heap's right Scramble, we're gonna lose some. Bullets got a few and scavengers are gonna get a few. Don't burn yourself out and join them."

Warthog gives Heap a casual salute. "Good to see another old spark standing out here."

The Killzone

"Yeah, I'm a Medic..." Archangel replied quickly to Springer, as he transformed back into his robot mode "...The name's Archangel..." The Medic introduced himself, grinning at Springer's comments "...Looks like you've found yourself a new doctor, and saved me a trip Springer, Skywatch there was next on my housecall list. Just give me a moment to pass on some coordinates to my associate here and you'll have my undivided attention"

Archangel paused as he sent some coordiantes through to Brewer "Here, these coordinates are from your distress signal, Dogfight was close by, contact me if anything comes up, I'll be here for some time I think, so you know where I am if you need me"

---Killzone----

Scramble shrugs, as she feverishly works on the 3rd woudned Decepticon at Warthogs location. The first was safely in Stasis Lock. The Second unfortunately had leaked todeath before she could stablize his systems.

"Keep Going then Heap. Take the ones you got to PolyHex, you can't carry these two right now anyway." She snapped a bit harder than she meant to. The current Decepticon she was working on had little or no chest plating left at all, and seemed to be missing a good portion of his right leg to boot. Her hand withdrawing into her all purpose medical tool, she quickly attached it to his Fuel tank and began to pump energon into him from her reserves.

"This ones got massive internal injuries, but I can save him...his fuel tank didn't rupture and neither did any of his other energon processing parts. He probably could have drug himself to POlyhex if it wasn't for his low power levels. I've pumped him up with enough destimulant to keep him calm." She turned her head optics looking at Warthog. "Still got that Cargo Net?"

(OOC: Sorry about the long post time been busy here IRL.)

The Killzone - Skies

Reduced to garbage duties for this mess

Thundercracker flew above looking for any other surviving Decepticons near the breach.

"Skywarp, Rapture, have you two found anything?" the seeker asked over a com-link.

Suddenly, the Decepticon received another message. Changing course, he honed in on the source and found an unconscious Grave. After transforming, he flew down and picked up the other Decepticon.

"I guess this is why we're fighting," Thundercracker said in a somewhat ironic tone.

"Thundercracker to Scramble," the seeker said over a com-link, "I've got another patient you might want to look at. He's in serious stasis lock? Think you can handle - or at least stabilize - him?"

Energon and time were short. Thundercracker knew he could only pick up those which he knew could be salvaged.

-------------------------------------------

The Killzone

"Archangel, do you need me to move this guy or help you with anything?" Springer asked, sounding slightly drained. This was the first time he had sat down since before the battle began. He smiled again. "Heh, who knows, if I learn enough, maybe I could be a medic, too. I hear that job's in high demand these days."

The Killzone- Skies

Skywarp was searching lazily over the air for any Decepticons that needed help. As much as he wanted to help his allies, he couldn't help but to think to himself, This is so boring...

Suddenly he received a message over com-link from Thundercracker.

I have found nothing. I'm just wastin' my energy flying around when we could be finding a way to get back at those wreched Autobots! What's your position, I'm having no luck in these parts. Or at least give me something to do Butt-er-cracker! Ha Ha!

---Killzone---

Scramble made the last needed movements of her two surviving patients to keep them in order, awaiting Warthogs cargo nets, not the best mode of wounded transportation, but it would do as Heap looked like he was bogged down with his excess passangers already. She tilted her head as Thundercrackers message came over her comlink.

>Copy that Thundercracker, I'll be enroute to your position shortly.>

Sighing a little, but in truth she knew her work had only just started after this size of a battle. Glancing towards Rampage. "Can you put them on Warthogs cargo nets when they drop?" She asked the predacon hopefully.

ABOVE THE KILLZONE

Rapture surveyed the wreckage below her sadly, her thoughts turning to Gallows ruined form again. Skywarp's words turn her sorrow into fury.

She banks sharply, kicking her afterburners in. the air screams as she breaks the sound barrier.

OOC: I thought maybe I shouldn't make Scramblebot wait for me to continue, so...

IC: As she dove down for approach Rapture tore through the haze of smoke and dust still covering the battlefield. slowing to subsonic speeds she got a visual on Scramble and Rampage. From her vantage she could see a scavenger approaching her fellow Decepticons from behind a small mound of rubble. It looked like the wretched thing hadn't seen her yet, so she transformed, sending a quick communique seconds before she slammed into the scavenger.

The midnight blue femme hit hard. Hand to hand, she thought. Not my strong suit, but when Lord Megatron says no shooting, I obey. The scavenger wailed in suprise as much as pain. Neither condition lasted long as Rapture's fist ripped the remains of its face apart. She felt a pain in her leg, detecting a stress fracture in her left foot. Frag. Hit too hard. I'm not built for this kind of fighting. After a few limping steps she took to the air instead, floating over to her comrades. The female officer swept down beside Scramble and Rampage, taking position at their backs. Her optics were still trained on the hillside as she addressed the mighty Predacon with an authoritative, but respectful tone.

"Rampage, I'll help load the wounded. Watch our backs, will you? Where there's one of the slagged things there's five more that heard that scream."

The Killzone

"Thanks a million, Archangel," Brewer recieved the coordinates almost instantaniously when the other medic sent them. He thought over the readings and began to remember where that area was. "Now I know!" He sped off, wheels kicking up dust from the battle's aftermath and quickly made his way to Dogfight's general location.

The Killzone- Skies

A loud, commanding yell came from his com-link. It was Rapture chewing out Skywarp.

Yes ma'am! Be there in a second! He replied like a child would to his mother when being disciplined.

He thought to himself: Forget about Megatron, the most dangerous of our kind are those fembots! They can sure tear your burners apart, both physically and internally...

He laughed at himself for the brief incident as he jetted as fast as he could to Thundercracker's position. When he saw him he slowed down and flew right beside him.

"So I hear you need help 'Cracker, what do you need old friend?" he said in a light, humourous voice. Then it hit him as he noticed Grave lying in the rabble in stasis lock. In a more serious tone he said, "Geez, he might as well be in the grave...Where's the medic?" Skywarp was the type of Decepticon to joke in very crude ways, but deep down, he felt grief and sadness for his unconscious comrade. It only made him hate the Autobots more.

---Killzone---

Relief flooded the Medics features as the comlink seemingly blared to life with various messages. Turning her head sharply at the warning of a scavenger, still she had no time to consider it. There was plenty of warriors at this location to handle one of those bottom feeders.

>Thundercracker I am on my way now.>

Turning she glanced at Rapture, giving the femme a slight once over then nodding before she took three steps forward and transformed into her aerial mode. The single engine blaring to life as the slightly lop sided (Due to the melted hole in her armor) seeker took off towards Thundercrackers direction. Her comlink coming back online again.

>What type of Wounds are we looking at can you tell?>

Of course she didn't expect him too, but a description could help the medic work faster. Her kit materializing along the bottomside of her alternate mode, its added weight slowing her a bit.

Rapture transformed, falling into formation with her damaged sister. Her sensors were alert for any sign of danger. She assessed the Seeker beside her for a moment.
[/i] Anticipating the reluctance to look after themselves so common in medical units, she continued.

"Got that, Rapture," Thundercracker said over one com-link. "I see you moving in on our position."

"Let's just say if he asked you out for a night on the town, you'd probably give him a fake protocol address," he said over another com-link to Scramble. "His optics have some serious damage. It looks like he's hurt inside and out. Just hurry up."

"Heh," the seeker chuckled, turning to Skywarp after deactivating his com-link. "Yeah, he doesn't look good at all. Scramble's on her way with Rapture." He paused, a smile coming to his face. "Man those fembots sure have some extra estrogel oil stuck in their systems, huh?"

Killzone

The Decepticon Response. Often late, with at least one wise ass, and always just a reactionary stopgap.

Heap assessed: Rapture and Scramble were en route to Thundercracker who'd spotted another wounded. Heap took a moment to reflect on the blue seeker; he'd always liked the younger 'Cracker; the Seeker respected his compatriots, fought bravely without giving himself over to blood lust, and seemed genuinely pleasant. Good kid. But if he kept associating himself with the likes of Starscream and Skywarp, the latter of which had been cajoled none-to-sweetly by Rapture into helping, he wouldn't get very far in this world.

Warthog and Rampage were loading up the other wounded just recently stabilized. Warthog had said something a moment ago, but Heap was miles away and didn't catch it. He made a point to apologize at some point. The evacuation of the wounded all in all was going well, but it should not have taken this long...

By himself again, save for the wounded still loaded on top of him, Heap slowly and quietly turns and makes his way back over the short distance between his position and the fortress that was Polyhex. Switching on his comm to all Decepticon frequencies, he says,

>

Switching his comm back off, Heap focused on the sound of his screeching treads; now that he wasn't in the middle of something, that old dull pain of his decrepit systems returned, like a friend coming back from a trip. He sighed as he continued his slow crawl back to Polyhex.

OOC: sorry about my long post time, bad weekend

IC:
Killzone

Warthog transforms into jet mode, hovering in place above teh wounded Decepticons as his carry net descends to the ground.

"I'll take anybody you got, Scramble just might be kinda slow getting 'em there."

The entire time, Warthog's watching his allies and the scavenger getting closer and closer on his radar, and he itches with anticipation. Once fully loaded, the heavy Decepticon takes to the sky. Slowly rising, he calls to Rampage.

"You could almost beat me to the position with this load; get in there and lets blast that scavvie to slag and get Thundercracker's kid"

Then he turns to an open radio frequency, making sure all involved can hear.

>

He took several long moments to consider the situation. Now Thundercracker and Skywarp would get a chance to do what they did best, which was hopefully fight instead of screw up like their buddy Starscream. Warthog couldnt help thinking that if either of them let a scavenger through on this pick-up he would slag them himself. He chuckled at that idea. No, the only slagging he ever wanted was Starscream himself.

Killzone

Skywarp laughed at Thundercracker's comment. "Not only that but they are so demanding! They think they can tell me what to do just because of their sleek curve and paint tones!" Yet still Skywarp laughed as he joked with his old friend.

Then a transmission came through from Warthog. "Come on Thundercracker there's a scavenger out there that we need to hunt down. Scramble will be here very shortly and we need to get going before the scavenger escapes us. And you know we can't let that happen!"

He activated his com-link:>>

With that he placed a small, round device on Grave's chest. He looked at his fallen comrade once more and then at Thundercracker. "He might as well be scrap. Ha ha! Let's go!"
