The Skies over the Killzone

Nightraid received the orders and replied. "Affirmative, initiating a tactical retreat'. The Seeker tactician turned nad headed back.

The groundbattle

Casting asside, the beheaded Autobot grunt with his right arm, Bludgeon's vizored eyes flared up a moment as he clenched his blade. "Retreat? Hmpf..." the heat of battle had entranced him but it seemed his kill-ratio would be restrained unexpectedly. The Master of Metalikato turned and transformed... .
Turning into Tankmode, he headed back for the Fortress.

Killzone

Heap opened the drivers hatch to his tank form, still addressing Scramble "I can fit two in here, and carry at least four if you lay them down on top and I take it slow...well, slower. I ain't that fast to begin with"

When she asks him about any injuries to himself, he replies, "I have some minor malfunctions...but I always do, kid. It's hard to keep an old 'Con like me running. But we'll worry about that later. Start loading the wounded up so we can get em out of here," he wasn't used to talking that much. Usually he didn't converse with others, especially about his health.

The Breach – Megatron’s position

"Hmph, I'm already here!" Starscream announced as he arrived and recieved his orders. He changed into his robot form and flew nearby to him. He knew what might be coming, Megatron never liked to lose, and if he bothered to call him here, it was most likely because the supreme commander needed a scapegoat.

"Before you go blaiming me about this loss, remember I was not in command, it was Shockwave! He failed to knock out the anti-air defenses on the ground!" It may have not been a good idea for Starscream to start off with excuses, it it was his way.

Kill Zone

(ooc: Anyone helping Skywatch?)

Hot Spot was monitoring Autobot channels, he was a rescue worker, not a medic, and he though First Aid might need help moving Fortress Maximus, but if Optimus Prime was there he was able to do it, the Autobot commander was even more suited to transport him if needed. Besides that, Hot Spot saw a collapsed bunker nearby and he had to check it for injured Autobots.

The Breach – Megatron’s position

Nightraid landed near Starscream, together with several other Seekers. As one they saluted Megatron, slamming their fists into their chests. The black and red Seeker tactician took on a military stance and remained silent. The Sky Commander seemed quite eager to point out that one... 'flaw'. Apparently Starscream was living up to the rumors and gossip.

Meanwhile a small tank arrived which transformed into the Master of Metalikato, the purple and green Bludgeon, held his blade and took in the situation, keeping his distance.
Oilsplatters indicated, he had seen quite some melee during this battle, but that was hardly surprising seeing his specialty.

---Killzone---

Scramble nodded slowly as she few carefully with one of the least wounded warriors help, she proceeded to load the worse ones up into Heap for protection "Alright, When we get to Polyhex and unload the wounded, at the Restoration Chambers, I am going to look you over. This things start up again." Even as she spoke the Medic seemed almost distant. A Sharp pain in her side let her know that she hadn't escaped completely on scratched. Glancing down at the hole in her armor, which clearly showed down to her inner support structure...rather the last layer of platting before vital circuits.

Most of her Seven patients,,well the five ones that wouldn't move under there own power had been loaded atop the older con or inside of them if they were bad enough. A sharp hissing sound was heard as she administered the destimulant to the two that could walk under there own power. A small sign of relief showed on her face, as she pressed one hand against the older cons transformed side.

"Lets go.." Tapping his side as he spoke, and started to walk slowly beside him to keep up with him. She would stay near, just incase one of the wounded fell or fell into a sudden degradation. Scrambles optics continued to scan the landscape as they moved, likely watching for any wounded that she could perhaps help.

Killzone

Heap watched Scramble loading the wounded onto his vehicle form. For once, his bulky tank mode served the situation well, rather than giving the enemies a larger profile for target practice. Watching the medic, he had to admit it did his old fuel pump good to see a Decepticon actually give a damn about her comrades. It was a rare trait these days, even amoungst medics. Though, he didn't care HOW compassionate or capable she was; she wasn't getting him up on an examination table, "Let's worry about my health after the rest of these poor slaggers are up and runnin,"

He noticed that Scramble herself wasn't in the best health at the moment, and stopped his slow pace. This medic was good, but she'd forgotten the first rule of combat effectiveness: If you're not running well, no one else can.

After he'd stopped, he says, "You hop on front and take a load off. You're not going to be of any use to anyone if you wear yourself down,"

---Killzone----

Scramble waved one hand shaking her head. Her armor was damage melted away on her lower left right, until it revealed the final layer of inner plating protecting her internal circuts and support structure. "Isn't anything but some melted armor and a little overheating. I blew a coolant crystal back when it happened I should be good for another (3 or 4 hours the cybertronian time slips my mind atm) so I'll be fine." She continued walking with Heap..noticing the older decepticon had dodged her question. She wouldn't push it...alot of older models were like that.

"Besides...if someone that actually needs a lift before we get there were would they sit if my lazy aft was seated?"

The Breach-Megatron's Position

Warthog rumbled towards Megatron's position, eyeing Starscream and the other Seekers intently. He cursed himself silently for his late arrival to Polyhex, but he knew late would be better than never.

Warthog immediately blamed Starscream for the loss of the battle, but he couldnt help but feel a little guilty at his own late arrival. No matter, Megatron would assign blame where it belonged. It was up to Warthog to find where he was most needed at the moment.

Killzone

Heap would've shrugged his shoulders at Scramble, if he weren't in vehicle mode. Returning to his slow pace, he has a hard time with the extra weight of the fallen Decepticons he's carrying, and his treads whine in defiance with each slow crawl. Still, he sticks to it, directing his snail's pace towards Polyhex.

Killzone

Rampage made his way back to polyhex; he couldn't find any other predacons so simply ran back to base. The psycopathic predacon did make his way to Heap and Scramble. He as usual didn't say anything but the cybertronian tiger did fall into step with the pair and acknowleging them; after all who knew, he might get a chance to fight if he was with others. Which was probably the main reason he was walking with them. The other was likely due to the fact that he was bored of wandering aimlessly back.

Though damaged himself he didn't seem to notice them and carried on walking. Energon from Orpheus and the other autobot's he'd slain covered his body; he wore it with pride as if to prove his own acomplishments.

Killzone

Heap recieves Warthog's hail, and thinks for a moment, not stopping his pace. Finally, he responds Negative, Warthog. I've got a medic down here who would be less than happy with dividing her patients right now. Do me a favor though, and fly ahead and see if there are any damaged Decepticons between my position and Polyhex. Report back to me when your findings,

Turning off his radio, he grunts slightly, and not from the discomfort of carrying his damaged cargo. He was never the most comfortable with giving orders or being asked for instructions. He'd had to lead a few people in his day, and he perferred just doing his job on the field or Security Detail in a base. Still, it didn't mean he was incompetent when it came to leadership skills.

He notices Rampage, but says nothing. The Predacon was known for his malice, and Heap would rather not converse with the bloodthirsty Decepticon if he could help it.

Killzone

>

Warthog lowers his speed, wheeling around between Heap and Polyhex in lazy, wide circles. Radar picks up a few single blips of moving Decepticons, but he strains to detect low-powered casualties. Descending to nape of the earth flyby at his lowest speed, he spots a squad of three completely trashed Decepticons, with limbs in various states of dismemberment. He changes back to robot mode, landing in their midst, his back-mounted thrusters throwing up dust and debris.

Cursory scans reveal signs of activity within his downed comrades. His gruff, tusked face leans in close to each Decepticon, seeing the sparks of awareness inside their shattered frames.

Warthog takes to the air in robot mode, taking care to continue his visual scan while marking the location of the fallen Decepticons. C [/b]

It seems he was the most popular Decepticon in the area, much to Heaps' lament. But better to help these guys get organized and save a few more lives than him be comfortable. Heap calls back to Warthog, Copy, Warthog. Good job. stay with them and Scramble will be by to check them out. Once she gets there, she'll help you

He turns the conversation to the Scramble, "Didn't mean to speak for ya, kid, but Warthog isn't a medic and you need to be there to load them up. That okay?"

" Rampage, you mind covering an old 'Con on the way back to base?" he tried to sound polite, even friendly; he'd heard horror stories about the Predacons and their fatal moodswings, and tried to be a cordial as he could be.

--Killzone Impromptu Medical Convoy---

Scrambles mind had been wandering. So much to the point that she hadn't notice Rampage start to follow them. Her optics flicker breifly as she glances over at Heap. "Huh...oh yea." She turns her head, eyeing the fluid dripping Predacon for a moment then simply nodded to acknowledge him. She queued up her own comlink.

>>>Secure them if you can Warthog, I don't like to think about it, but you never know how soon scavangers will show up. We'll be there shortly.>>

Letting a small sigh she shook her head. "I don't know how long this lull will be....but I think as soon as the Autobots evac that big one they'll fire up there weapons again." She glanced over at Rampage, then to the two walking wounded that followed close behind. Quitely she activated her comlink again on the general channel.

>>Anyone with a free back or a hauling alternate mode, report to Warthogs position. After I check them we'll need assistance hauling them. We will also hold for a few minutes, if you have wounded comrades and can move them bring them to warthogs location. I'll do my best to keep em functioning until we can get a full evac in order. Scramble out.>>

Perhaps it was asking for more than the young Medic could chew, but she thought it a good idea to at least mass as many wounded as she could in one area. It would make evacuating them more easy and less time consuming, if the autobots suddenly decided to charge the lines again.

"You holding up Heap?" She asked as she killed her comlink, but left the incoming sequence on. Her head turning to Rampage, she had heard about the Predacon, but simply pushed rumors and word of mouth aside. It was a war after all. "What about you?"

Rampage didn't mind being looked a warily in fact he found it rather amusing. As it was, everyone could be glad to know that for once Rampage was in a relativly good mood.
"Not at all" he responded to Heap; after all he might get to fight on the way back to base.
"I am fine" he replied to Scramble. Rampage wasn't one for speaking long replies. In fact he preferred nothing more that to simply live up to his name. However he did feel that the question did deserve a response so he gave one.

Mal didnt know how he did it, but Psychout was already there and waiting for in the transport shuttle.

Not powerful enough to break orbit but a decent little speedster, they both knew it would get them and their cargo to Kaon with more than enough time to brief the boss when he woke up; they had figured Megatron would have a few questions regarding the outcome of the siege of Polyhex that he was overseeing, and it may be an idea for them to give him a heads up on what was awaiting him in the Decepticon fortress city.

Psychout had slumped into his pilots chair and wes steering with little care or attention; he hadnt been to Kaon for many years and didn't relish the idea of seeing Soundwave again; but at least he didnt have to worry about paying his bar-tab back at Polyhex for while.

Down in the hold/makeshift medical lab, laying in an impromptu CR chamber Mal had rigged for him, Decepticon Military Commander Shockwave lay in unconciousness, as still as the dead, awaiting re-activation. A consistant and monotonous beep was the onlt sound he made.
Downing tools for himself a few minutes for a recharde, Mal Practice hooked himself up to a power conduit and relayed a last message to Psychout;
"Wake me when we get to Kaon airspace, ill bring the boss aorund and brief him, then we can announce our arrival to Megatron. This is going to be a long cycle..."

The Killzone

Normally, if he'd been told that someone had been captured by the 'Cons and then let go, Archangel would have called them in for an immediate systems evaluation to see if something had been jogged loose at some point. But this wasn't any 'Bot, although he'd only known him for a short time, Archangel didn't believe that Brewer was the kind of 'Bot to make up wild stories.

"Sounds like you've been pretty busy.." The Young medic replied with a small smile on his face "..I would like you to fill me in a bit more on what happened with the 'Insane Medic' at some point, but for now, lets just get our guys back to Nova Cronum.." Archangel suggested to Brewer, looking over to the already started recovery of injured and incapacitated Autobots "..Who were you looking for in particular?"

Elsewhere, closer to the Polyhex Line, Havok was slowly moving towards his first location in the search for Thrall and Bane. The smoke had nearly disipated from the area, allowing Havok an even clearer view of the situation "Heh, that old tactic" He thought to himself as he saw the makeshift wall of dead Autobots, slowly being dismantled by one of the Autobot recovery teams, recognising it as a tactic employed previously by Bane. It was as the Corrupticon glanced across, that something, or rather someone, caught his attention.

There, with the remains of a departed Decepticon slung over his shoulder, was Thrall, trudging back towards Polyhex. Looking over to the Decepticon who was still following him, Havok gestured for him to go and help out with the Decepticon recovery operation, before walking over towards Thrall, coming up behind the legendary Ex-Gladiator and placing a hand on his shoulder "Long time no see Thrall" Havok said, that comment being about as cloase to sentiment he was capable of, or at least as much as he would display.

The Killzone

It was easy to understand the small urgency of wanting to get the original job done. There wasn't time for chit-chat when other 'bots needed serious attention; and until Brewer saw that all were taken care of, he didn't want to rest. Transforing to robot mode, he looked around, answering Archangel's question unto who he was looking for, "Ever heard of the bot called Dogfight? While I was repairing him, the Decepticons kidnapped me, and shot him a point-blank range. Not good at all. I need to get to him soon."

Killzone

Warthog hovers above the downed Decepticons, keeping an open eye for more of his wounded comrades. Every now and then he can swear he sees a scavenger, only to discover its a wounded Decepticon making his slow way back to safety.

The expressionless tusked face looks into the distance, his visor stip narrowing in strain to see Heap and Scramble's position.

I'm getting too old for this he mutters internally. He knew the Autobots would push again as soon as they could; this was a war, and it was what a good commander would do. Warthog didnt fault them; but he knew his loyalties. A cluster of red blips colored the edges of his screen--Heap, Scramble, and their passengers. Then another, smaller blip appeared. Rampage.

"Just when I thought we might all escape with our sanity, forget our lives," Warthog complains to no one in particular.

OOC:Sorry, I don't have a comp at home anymore so this will be a little outdated.

The Breach

Grave was thrown back, hitting the ground hard, his optics felt like they were about to fall out of him.

Slaggit, that didn't even phase him...

He slowly recuperated and limped away from the battlefield. It was just then that he achieved the ceasefire transmission. His radio always seemed to pick up transmissions a little after they were sent out.

So now I hear it, my age seems to be catchin' up with me...
"This is Grave, I don't think I will be able to make it to a safe place quick enough to get any repairs, I've been hurt badly and could use some help." said Grave over his comlink. He had been seriously torn up in his transistors, now he couldn't even see out of his left eye. His body gave out soon enough, sending him into emergency stasis lock.

Slaggin' giant rotor matrix-lovin pun...

The Breach – Fortress Maximus’s position

Since First Aid was apparently busy elsewhere, Optimus had summoned Ratchet to get to work on Fortress Maximus. With a bit of work the chief medic was able to convert the Autobot second in command back to his more compact robot form. With some assistance they loaded him on a shuttle. With the situation on the battlefield seemingly settled for now, Optimus joined them in the shuttle, which rocketed off to Iacon. Maximus would receive the repairs he needed there and Prime could prepare for his meeting with Megatron.

Scramble nodded once to Heap, before she took three steps forward then transformed into her alternate mode. The single engine blaring to life as the somewhat lopsided cybertronian jet raced towards Warthogs position.

She didn't fly as high as Warthog was however, keeping relatively low until she reached his location, where she transformed without a word, her green medikit in hand and went immeditaly to work on one of the three he had found.

"By the Matrix...he's got more holes in time than a piece of Tariun Cheese." She shook her head, she couldn't do much for him...she slowly and carefully pulled the wounded mechs chest plate off laying it aside exposing his circutry. Immediately she began work clamping off fuel leaks.

"Can you hear me.." she asked the wounded transformer. "Your hit bad, I am going to clamp off your fuel leaks as best I can and put you into Stasis lock...you'll be fine." She wasn't sure however if this one would function long enough for her to do so though.
