Haha that is a VERY good point but I don't think it was the main reason.

As has been said, you don't need ammunition to be able to destroy things.

Think about this: The vehicle is made to protect, yes. But so is a fire axe. But both can be turned into a weapon pretty easily. The alt mode's intended purpose means nothing, its the TRANSFORMER'S intended purpose since its the TF that is sentient.

Yes. Apparently, the ad showed a Buffalo with longer, sharper claws which looked more impressive than the actual Buffalo.
