Laboratory"Yeah I suppose so." Skullcruncher had replied back to Shadowing but unlike the intelligence specialist, the large warrior was not as quick to think on his feet. Shockwave's announcement had captured his attention and put any prior tasks out of his mind. Thus, instead of returning to the cargo hold to get whatever had been left behind, Skullcruncher found himself staring at the ancient purple Decepticon - waiting to hear what Shockwave possibly could have to say. And particularly after the now carapace clad seeker femme he had been escorting deep under Cybertron's surface only deca-cycles ago - confronted the Commander in manner that would have made Starscream proud.
This before mentioned interest on Shockwave's words did not last for too long. While Skullcruncher had first been interested in hearing what Shockwave had to say, he had been severely disappointed towards the scientist's words after the first sentence or two. It was nothing he had not heard before. Empty promises until proven otherwise. And while he was well aware of Shockwave's reputation and the scientist's past successes, it was starting to get difficult to listen to the former Military Operations Commander's monotonous dialogue. That was, until all the doors leading out of the laboratory were suddenly remotely closed and locked around the Decepticons gathered before Shockwave.
"Decepticon Blackwind is deemed an obstacle to advancement. Subdue her, by any means necessary, and we shall proceed. I will bring you the future you have been fighting for."
In mere astroseconds everything had turned from another boring briefing into a rather explosive situation. With Thunderwing out of the way, Shockwave had decided to finally act against the femme that had been doubting him in every turn. And while Skullcruncher had no doubt that Shockwave's hurt ego had something to do with this action against Blackwind, it was also all too clear that before Shockwave stood a perfect test subject of technology alien to the Shockwave's insatiable scientific curiosity.
Before Skullcruncher was able to act on the new orders given by Shockwave, one of the more agile Decepticons had already charged at Blackwind. A lithe femme, smaller than any other Decepticon present. Yet, obviously the most eager to inflict damage on possibly anything that moved. Even Weirdwolf seemed to be oddly content on waiting whether or not this femme could bring down Blackwind and her new carapace for the tracker had not taken a single step towards either femme. And thus Skullcruncher, the largest Decepticon currently on board the
Thanatos, merely stepped back and moved to stand in front of the most obvious exit route out of the laboratory.
