So it seems that the main questions for this figure are:

1. Does the armor really come off?
2. Can the head be switched out for Takara's version?

I'm positive the answer to question #1 is yes; otherwise giving the armor a name and putting it on the back of the box's list of accessories doesn't make any sense. What I'm waiting on is an answer to question #2, which won't matter if Reprolabels fixes the problem.

All in all, I'm sold on this fella.

Lazerback and Twinstrike had the same symbol before it got changed on the final product. That was the prototype for the Predacon symbol earlier in the production.

I'm sure there's a reviewer out there who is getting ready to solve the armour issue for everyone. (Even though that's not my concern.)

Rampant speculation on my part, but if Screens' BH-Vehicle kibble ends up being removable, I wonder if he was intended as a PRID mold all along?

Makes a nice alternative to the AM one, cheaper too, however I await some out of package and even side-by-side comparison shots before I take the plunge...

We now have a few in-package images of Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Deluxe Wave 2's Bulkhead. This figure will be Bulkheads debut in the Deluxe range, he features a new helmeted head sculpt and a color scheme similar to Roadbuster or perhaps Brawn. Here's Hoping the paint the Blue Dots on his helmet. To me it looks like Those are his eyes and his Visor is a big Goofy Blue grin. And While I'm not too excited about this line other than maybe the Preds themselves and Smokescreen, I might get this one to be a Brawn...

Here they are, the images many of you have been waiting for since it was revealed that Smokescreen would be making an appearance in Wave 2 of the Transformers Prime "Beast Hunters" Deluxe line. Smokescreen looks pretty good, but man does he have a lot of missing/wrong paint apps. Oh well, this is Hasbro we're talking about, we're lucky enough to be just getting the figure in the first place. Judging by these pics, I'm pretty sure the armor is removable, which means he's a buy for me.

Bulkhead is a pass because I have the FE one and Bulk's meant to be a voyager. He looks alright though, aside from the smiley face.

Edit: HOLY CRAP, THAT WAS BREAKING NEWS. :shock:

SO BOUGHT. He's got a lot of car kibble on his arms but he still looks good. And even the net is removable from the gun! YYYEEEEEESSSSS. This figure just went from 'looks potentially good' to 'MUST BUY'. :BOWDOWN:

I'm also really glad I didn't buy the AM version when I had the chance.

I'd buy him, even thought I hate this series. I'd ditch the dumb Road Warrior armor and just leave him plain.
