My guess is the dinobots will be made from animatronic dinosaurs.....either that or they will turn into Cybertronian beasts. I could see Grimlock being a pompus arse that thinks hiding is for weaklings.

Personally, it sounds awesome. Realistically, though, I remember all of Bay's comments about reality and such. What possible real life, believable use could giant robots be that turn into robotic dinosaurs? If robots with humanoid faces were too unrealistic for Bay, what would he think of dinosaurs? =]

I for one LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this idea!!!! I was actually thinking to myself a few weeks ago it would be cool if they could incorporate Dinobots and perhaps Devastator into the sequel. If this is something that will happen, I hope they pull it off well!!!!
Hey, if you have Devastator, you gotta have the Dinobots!! THEY ARE RIVALS!!!
"ME GRIMLOCK CAN'T WAIT UNTIL TRANSFORMERS 2!!! lol.

hmm, incorporating the dinobots into real life logic as the movie supposedly is..
interesting to see how that will all play out.
alien machine robots, that transform into an extinct inferior species from another planet, that lack intelligence of the other alien mechanized race.
honestly, i'm pondering it and it won't stop

My version for the dinobots' arrival: Their protoform comet-like bodies explodes near a museum, with mechanical dinosaur-statues in it, and they take their bodies as basic for alt. modes.

Here's a dinobot theory.
Maybe some protoforms are sent on a earth mission. Maybe a search of some kind and they land in the desert wheres theres very little life and no machinery. They'd need alt modes that are suitable for the terrain so they might scan the fossils of dinosaurs.
Just an idea...

Megatron is frozen for ages and then gets thawed out. What if something similar happened to the dinobots? If they were sent here millions of years ago for some reason, and say something cataclysmic happened to make them go into stasis?

No Unicron, no Dinobots, and maybe the Constructicons if they can handle it correctly without getting stupid...
Ugh.
I'm so sick of Unicron that I could puke coat hangers. I want this to be as realistic as possible.
Hell, F4 is doing the planet eater thing and it looks like it's going to be STUPID. STOOOOOPID.
Mr. Bay, Mr. Spielberg, anyone else in charge, if you're reading this...PLEASE NO UNICRON! AHHHH!!!

I don't generally like the movie style, but it could work for the Dinobots - brutal, savage, lethal, etc. Hell, Grimlock didn't have a human face, so, no complaint there...

Oh God...
Looks like it's time to get a head start on the fanboy complaining for two years, heh. Just kidding folks. Devastator would be a great villain for the sequel, I guess we have to see how the movie ends, to see how they'll get to that point, hmm? Dinobots would be pretty cool, but I bet they'll cut the team to just the original three. I bet one will be a Velociraptor, due to it's popularity. Buuuut Polymorphic brings up a great point. With the attitude of keeping the TFs "realistic", The Dinobots wouldn't make much sense, unless they sit in a museum...oh god I hope I didn't speak that into existence... Although I wouldn't be too opposed to Grimlock being a tank, like The War Within...
