This topic is for just what the title Sugests.

You can do one of two things here.

1. Design a varriation of an allready exsisting symbol. (Decepticon, Autobot, Predacon, Maximal, Vehicon, Mini-con) if you do this don't tell us what it's supose to be. It's a varriation meaning it should be close enough to original design for us to still recognize it but different enough to call your own.

2. Design a completly new Faction symbol. If you do this you allso have to name your faction. It obviously can't be any exsisting faction (as listed above) and you have to tell us what's different about them from their ancestors. (Like the Maximals being smaller and consuming less fuel than the Autobots.)

Have fun, I'm interested in seeing what people come up with.

Who's Stalker? It kinda looks like Machine Wars Starscream/Universe King Atlas to me.

Anyway I desided to do a couple as well. I wanted to go for a more litteral name for my groups. Something that mates the original "Consumer Goods" and "Gladiator" lines built by the Quints so I barrowed the names of a couple combiner groups. (The Predacons stole their name from the G1 Combiners so why not?) I allso wanted the groups to look like their leaders so the designs are based off the heads of Botcon Dawn of Futures Past Optimus and Megatron.

These Transformers are different from Autobots/Maximals and Decepticons/Predacons in that they no longer have any need for Energon at all and can scan new forms at any time. Allthough the Transformer itself doesn't use Energon, the scanners and other things still do.

Well that depends on what your definition of "American" is. If you mean I was born and raised in America than yes, I'm American. (That's really the only definition in which you can call me that.)

Anyway...

I'll leave it to you to guess what these faction symbols are sence they're ment to just be varriants of exsisting logos. They'll be left black till someone actully gets what they are.

Have you ever thought "Why are Autobots and Decepticons the only factions with their own symbols? Why don't any of the sub-factions have their own logos?" Well I have so I desided to make faction symbols for all the G1 Sub-Factions.

G1 is really the only sereis that has Sub-factions. Other series like RID just had different "teams". In other words rather than being a faction called "Constucticons" they were a team called "The Build Team"

Anyway here's what I have so far, I'll do more later when I have more time. I gotta go to bed right now. (I'll be making/posting these in Alphebetical order)

Aerialbots

Based on the head of Superion Maximus.

Combaticons

Based on the head of Bruticus Maximus. Is it just me or with all the detail removed to turn it into this logo, does this logo look more like BW Rampage?

Constructicons

Based on the head of Constructicon Maximus.

And again I sware, all I'm doing is posting them in Alphabetical order, it's just a coincidence that the first 3 happen to be the same guys who appeared in Energon. (Maybe that's how they picked thoughs 3 guys to appear in Energon?)

Even though these are ment to represent the G1 characters I thought the Energon heads looked better.

I had posted this last summer, but here it is again. I'm actually working on some fanfiction based on a Decepticon Trans-Am when I take study breaks, which I will hopefully have time to illustrate into a Spotlight comic after I'm done with college next year.

Not sure what happened while I was working on this one. Came out rather lopsided but maybe Menasors head is just like that anyway.

Technobots

Based on the head of Computron.

Terrorcons

Based on the head of Abominous.

Anyone figure out what the other heads I posted were yet? The 4 black ones.

Ah it doesn't matter,

That's what they were supose to be in that order. I was makeing them to look more like the characters they're suposidly based off of in the first place. You can see on my versions there are some definate simularitys on the Decepticon/Soundwave heads and the Predacon/Waspinator head. The offical Maximal logo aside from resembileing a cat really looks nothing like Cheetor's head. And the Offical Autobot logo, definatly looks nothing like Prowl.

I remember visiting a TF website a few years back that had Soundwave's face morphing into the Decepticon logo on it's front page.

I think the Autobot symbol is loosely based on Prowl, but it also has a very geriatric expression IMO, which makes it sort of original.

My designs for the new faction of Autobots lead by Saber Prime.

The new faction of Decepticons lead by Megatron-X.

And a new Mini-con faction lead by Perceptor.

What they actully are...

Saber Prime, Autobot and Decepticon insignians stacked on top of eachother and then painted solid.

Megatron-X, Maximal and Predacon insignians stacked on top of eachother and then painted solid.

Perceptor, Mini-con and Vehicon insignias stacked on top of eachother and then painted solid.
