hey guys ive been rewatching the original series on netflix and man its awesome but i watched episode 8 the dinobots and as an adult i didnt remember there origin so the episode was awesome, but do the dinobots in canon stay unintelligent and basically slave workers to autobots please let me know as i love the dinobots and cant wait to learn more about them....Sam

nobody has any thoughts or information on my question i guess i underestimated the appeal of the dinobots and grimlock

I read the comics as a kid and thought they were introduced there in a better (if more far-fetched) way. Ratchet found them and used them as a trap for Megatron. (Spoiler...)
Never did enjoy the mentally challenged version of the Dinobots. That got old.

Yep. In my opinion they make them dumber as the seasons progress...as for a slave...there is the episode grimlock gets put in a tux and serves drinks.....
The comics do a much better job with the dinobots.
