I'd disagree Hot Rod. Its about the Transformer Movie Bumblebee, directly inspired by Bay. His influece of the characters, the look and feel of them is indeed connected to the "Disappointment in the Bumblebee Masterpiece Movie toy".
1st there is not MAsterpiece Bumblebee Toy![]()
2nd This is about feeling about the toy not the movie. Just because it is a toy based on the movie does not mean we talk about the movie, we talk about the toy. And I do see your point as long as we keep it about the toy and not the rest of the movie ok?
1 - Yes this is NOT a Masterpiece Toy. Your right there, very very right.
2 - In order to properly discuss the toy don't you have talk about what it is based on? The movie gave rise to the toy. No movie no toy. Sadly, in my humble opinion, you can't seperate the two.
1. No, don't be synical, it is from the Ultimate line.
2. Yes you can seperate the two, in fact there is a completely seperate forum where movie items are being discussed and you are more than welcom to join one of the numerous topics discussing the look of the character.
3. This thread was a good basis for discussing the figure not the character, so please start discussing things like features, complexitiy, price, packaging, possible transformations, etc.
I want this thread back on track and that's the last warning.
Movie toys=Movie
No movie no toy. Bay influenced the designs in the movie, and that gave the design to the toy. Saying the two are seperate is like saying ice and nothing to do with water.
Realistily there are 3 paths left to take.

Let it devolped as it is
