Having owned both, you most definitely cannot do that. The RoTF one is substantially larger (like 4x the DotM head)

Yeah, the DOTM is intentionally smaller by quite a bit for the effect with the head scarf to work.

4x bigger? Damn. That in particular was not discernable in the gallery photo. Would cutting away part of the light gray section DOTM Megatron's neck emerges from be enough to make room?
Not particularly fussed about interfering with the hood and cloak, since I don't even have the darn thing (my Megs was a thrift store find. Also sadly missing the oil tank cannon) and would have made a cloth replacement anyway.

Naw man, the rotf head is almost the size of the cab itself, he would definitely look striaght-up chibi or SD if you tried to put it on the dotm mold, sorry

Bugger. I guess I'll have to do something else to give his head an intact look.

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Wouldn't really help, seeing as he has the partially-healed wound from the end of ROTF sculpted in. Paint would honestly bring out more of the details of the damage XD

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I already have a solution: I'm going to cover the damaged area with a targeting array.
I wouldn't want to put an ROTF Megatron head on a Movie 1 Megatron. Megatron's head got changed somewhat in shape when he was rebuilt, and gained armor plates on the cheeks.

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Well, since it's no good for what I was hoping to use it for I'm not going to seek out an ROTF Voyager Megs head the next time I have money. I have plenty of other parts and figures to buy intead. Such as, speaking of Movie 1 Leader Megs, his left arm pod (Downside to thrift store finds XD).
