Quite simply put, your Spartans are resolute, highly formidable on the battlefield and, even when on the losing end of a mission, display a prowess in combat that exceeds their physical makeup.

A prowess in combat only displayed by one other team in recent times: the Wreckers.

Because of your bravery, loyalty, and self sacrifice in service of the Autobot cause, as well as the impressive battlefield feats of your Spartans, it has been decided that you will be promoted to the rank of Autobot Ground War Commander , responsible for the safety and well-being of the Autobots who fight in the ground war missions (levels 1-3).

Congratulations, soldier. You have more than earned the title.

The Wreckers will be leveling up from 3 to 4 after a few training runs with your Spartans, but they will still be supporting your efforts from the Assault stage missions (levels 4-7).

If you have any questions regarding the duties of your newly appointed post, or wish to request assistance from your fellow ground war combatants in the performance of these duties, you are more than welcome to do that here.

I would like to add that this decision was not arrived at lightly. Every commander deploying into the ground missions has done an OUTSTANDING job of standing firm in the face of fierce opposition. There were three commanders who were originally considered for this post; and in the end, the Bot that was chosen was the Bot who had the best overall performance for warrior-class bots (often outscoring the Wreckers in missions) and who was deemed to be the best fit to protect the support and recruit-class commanders. No commander was overlooked due to any other factors.

A promotion?! But...we haven't had our annual performance reviews yet! How will I know what I need to improve on this year?! It's too soon!! I can't handle the pressure! I CAN'T--

In all seriousness folks, I'm nothing special. Thanks Jack for the recognition, but I'm just guy who throws his Bots in the fray, hopes for the best, and tries to have fun (and look good ) doing it. That said, I seem to be in the spotlight a little now, so I shall try my best to be of help and service to anyone here who needs it. If you're new to the game or still trying to figure out the lower levels and can see this, feel free to PM me or ask questions and I'll do what I can to give decent advice.

My overall advice to everyone, though, is this: play the game and have fun.

You my just be throwing your Spartans into any fight they can jump into, but your performance reviews, pre and promotion, show that your bots do a tremendous job of playing off the strengths of Science Officer Wingz’s Surgical Scientific Supremacists and the other warrior class teams fighting in the ground war missions!

That is exactly what we need to begin retaking lost ground territory.

If any bots come looking for assistance from you, you can always point them in the direction of these threads you guys have been posting building strategies in (I’ve been working on the War Room thread and will be updating later today. Possibly Burn could combine the two into one?)

Thanks bro! Kup’s been getting busy at level 4, but he’s gonna miss those Line in the Sand missions.

By the way, Happy Belated Birthday! (I’m just getting around to reading all the different threads in the main forum)
