He's got some pretty far-out powers to go along with them, too, including teleportation, the projection of trippy telepathic visions and illusions, and the ability to groove on the language of 98% of all known species. To uses his powers to the fullest, though, he's gotta be feelin' good vibrations; bad karma can seriously harsh his mellow, y'know?

Heinlad is a Tanuki, a Japanese raccoon dog, there isn't really a name for the creature in English that I know of, but he isn't a squirrel.
There was a TM2 flying squirrel, repainted into RiD's Night Scream. The TM2 was called Nightglider.
That's about all for squirrels.

Say squirrel like 100 times over real fast while nicely enunciating your Rs. Such a great word.
You know, I remember catching a couple of episodes of Beast Wars in the late 90's on TV and thinking WTF? I tried watching it a coupleof times and gave up on it. I think the animation style really threw me off.
However, seeing Mr. Heinlad above makes me want to revisit the series. Must be the goofiest TF I have ever seen. I use goofy in the best possible way ofcourse. Maybe if I watched it from episode 1 I would get into it?

Heinlad isn't in the U.S. Beast Wars series. I believe it's Neo that he's in. He is a pretty neat figure IMO.

Yes, I'm well aware of what Heinlad and his ball-sacks of time magic actually are, but to the glancing eye one might think squirrel.

If this comes off curt and quite rude I apologise, it was probably a classic case of my sense of humour, only understood by me...
The core idea was the balls, not sniping at anyone in particular for correcting me.

Heinlad also cameo'd in the first episode of Rid:
I have the KO of Heinrad, and it's pretty cool. Definitely one of the more obscure/cool alts. in all of Transformers.
