Ratchet looks awesome! Even the head is painted like the Marvel comics run. Neat. Although I do admit to likeing the green Ratchet

I really like both of these much better than the original colors, and will definitely be picking them up. And being that these aren't some crazy Botcon exclusive, my bank account can breathe a sigh of relief.
If they can squeeze a Skywarp out of that mold, I'll be very pleased.
Wonder if they'll get around to painting Ironhide red...

I actually liked the yellow movie Ratchet colors. But this is nice also.
As for SS, I actually like this version. I'd pick this one up.

But you know if they'd left the original head people would be saying, "They gave him G1 colours, why not use the more G1-esque head from Thundercracker!".
Well, without pictures of the robot mode, I'm not gonna assume they didn't. If they're trying to remake G1 Starscream in movie style, they might as well use the Thundercracker head so they can get the full effect. Seeing as how they've already made that head and put it on this mold, I can't see how it would be a problem.
Still can't see this color scheme working out on that mold in robot mode, though, no matter what head they use. I'm hoping I'm wrong, though.
EDIT: Ah, now I see the robot-mode pics on page three... Ratchet looks nice, I'm still not entirely sold on Starscream...

I wish they would have kept Starscream's movie head instead of that god-awful remolded Thundercracker head that looks like melted plastic.
And the colours are just all wrong... c'mon Ratchet and 'Screamer, pick a generation of transformers and stick with it, you guys look like a bad time travelling accident.

Anybody else catch that the German auction said they were made by Hasbro but they decided to pass on them? That would suck so hard! Between the Thundercracker and Starscream I now have to hold out hope for Skywarp! I guess I coud just use the Universe Jetsorm repaint Skywarp, but with RiD Stormjet and the "Sonic Attack Jet" I have the Seekers there too! I even use the Jetstorm as Dirge and Jhaixus as Sunstorm. Sometimes you gotta get creative with these non-cannon toys...
I do like the "original" movie head but with the new head its easier to divid them up on the Seeker shelf from the potential Movie shelf I have planned.
Ratchets cool too but without Ironhide it's just a slap in the face!

As I said before, I like these colors on these figures.
Now that I've seen bot modes, I can say that I like the new head for SS, but I still don't like the body mold itself. But I've figured out what I dislike: there's no real waist or any real type of transition from legs to chest. It just looks like a pair of "normal" robotic legs sticking out of an extra-large chest, with no real transition between the two areas. That's what really makes Movie SS look so weird to me. No matter what head is on that body, I'm not buying it. Maybe they could reuse the head mold on a better body at some point in the future.
I really like repaint Ratchet, and I'll buy it if I can. His face is still ugly, but the paint dividing the face into parts really does improve the head, IMO.
